Set on the top floor of the 5 star Adams Beach hotel, The Glass House has stunning views over Nissi beach and out to sea. The decor is stunning, very modern and just right for a special evening meal. Before eating at the restaurant we wondered if the food could match up to the stunning setting and views - we shouldn't have worried as the the quality of ingredients and cooking was superb. In addition, the staff were exceptionally well trained, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. This is probably one of the more expensive restaurants in Ayia Napa but you get what you pay for and felt we got good value for money. The menu is extensive and particular highlights are fish and steak, accompanied by a strong wine list. If your celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, book a table at The Glass House, it won't disappoint.

Whist staying in Adams beach in July 2011 my wife and I took advantage of the hotels 20% discount for their new Glass House restaurant. Located on the 5th (top) floor the setting of this restaurant is simply stunning. The decor of the restaurant has been carefully considered and is modern with a really chic vibe. We were fortunate enough to be seated outside even though we hadn't made a reservation (book to avoid dissapointment) and whilst the decor is great I would have felt a little dissapointed if we'd had to sit inside. Given the setting and the investment made in decor, we had high expectations for our meal but sadly these were not realised. To begin with we received a complimentry amuse bush which was a small square of beef terine, which was not pleasant. I then had pate brule, great idea, however, it was really lacking in flavour and should have been accompanied with some melba toast, instead it was just pate with green leaves. For my main course I had duck which was totally over cooked and really lacked flavour. Duck should be cooked medium, it can't take any more but I simply got well done. It was so tough I thought I was going to choke on it! My wife had pesto spaghetti, which she enjoyed. In my opinion this beautiful restaurant has such massive potential, however, I think too much time has been spent on the look and feel of the place and not enough time on the food. If the chefs ever read this, I have just three words for them, flavour, flavour, flavour! This is not a cheap restaurant but you really wouldn't mind if the food was fab and sady it wasn't. If they could match the standard of food in "Sage" Ayia Napa, boy would they be on to a winner. Good luck......
