“Great Find!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

We've just returned from Bellini Bungalows and had a lovely, relaxing holiday in October. Contrary to the recent reviews my experience of the accommodation was very good and I would return next year. We booked a budget holiday but had a first class service. The room was cleaned daily and the cleaners were helpful and catered to our every request. Hannah was a real star and genuinely looked after us. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and happy and at the end of a long season I'm impressed that she cared enough about her guests to make such an effort. She was absolutely brilliant! The Bungalows are close to the beaches, restaurants, nightlife. The room was clean, the bathroom had a powerful shower and although the fridge was noisy we could live with it! The pool was clean and with exactly what you would want as a pool area around it. I would definitely recommend Bellini to other travellers and I would like to thank Hannah for helping us to have a great holiday!

We stayed at the bellini bungalows in september 2012 ,it was a filthy run down poor excuse of a place ,the 2 decent things about the place were the pool area and the size of the rooms or maybe that was because there was hardly anything in them we had a dining table but no chairs we had to bring patio chairs in so we could sit at the table when you've said that you've said it all Hannah the receptionist was unhelpful and downright surly , There was blood on the so called towels ( i use better towels to dry the dog ) Hannah did change them but she wasn't too pleased about it as it was almost 7 pm that was her finishing time .when we went back to our room to unpack we discovered the previous guests dirty boxer shorts in the wardrobe the entire place was filthy with thick grease on top of the cupboard and the fire blanket, the cutlery was rusty this wasn't a seasons worth of dirt ,With no other option we thought we'd make the most of it and see the rep the following day .After a sleepless night with the springs sticking through the mattress and the fridge clanking and buzzing we eventually found the rep and passed on our complaints we didn't rant and rave but told him as politely as we could that the place was a dump he said he would sort it out ,We didn't see him again till the day before we came home the only thing that was rectified was a dud light bulb ,This is the only holiday i have been on where we've had to get up in the night to turn the mattress over to see if there was an area without springs poking through both bed were the same, Hannah didn't speak to us again after hearing us complain ( no loss there as she was rude to other guests) the only friendly person was the cleaning lady shame she couldn't clean but she did get us a kettle after seeing my sister boiling water in a pan with a loose handle we had been there for 3 day then, The laughable thing was the notice informing guests that if you didn't empty your rubbish and remove bottles etc you would be fined 50 euros and we thought we were on holiday .
We will go back to Cyprus but not to the bellini bungalows

Room Tip: please don't go to bellini bungalows there much much nicer places to stay in cyprus

please look at my other reviews because it takes a lot for me too dislike things!!
arrived at bellini bungalows at 700pm it looked ok from the outside and was met at reception by Hannah who by the way was ok and told us the norm about the bar and opening times and closing times and so on.
she then gave us a key our room and when i first opened the room the smell hit me.
it was musky dirty filthy disgusting hellhole is all i can say.
the bath still had the previous peoples dirt and hair in it.
the bedding did not fit the bed it was stained and the floor had not been cleaned in months i can put my mortgage on that.
i got a baby wipe got on my knees and rubbed for five minutes until i actually came across the floor.
at the side of my bed was a draw with a glass top with blonde hair all over it.
its the worst place i have ever had the pleasure of seeing!!
we did not open our cases for 2 days this is the reason why.
after we opened the door and encountered the rotten hellhole we walked straight out of the door and went back to the reception which was closed and we couldnt find Hannah.
we spent 3 hours looking for alternative accomadation we just couldnt find anywhere as they were booked up.
we did find our rep though who had just finished his shift and told me we will sort it tomorrow.
we met after a sleepless night in the bar at 1045am the next day were 2 other familys where asking for a new hotel.
it cost me £100 to move down to ayai nappa town at the Anthea hotel please read the review i will put about the Anthea after this one.
please do not go to this place trust me please do not go here.
pay a little extra and stay at the Anthea.

Room Tip: do not even go!!!!!!

My 4 friends and I stayed at Bellini Bungalows in September for a week. We were on a tight budget, hence why we stayed here. First impressions were not good. We arrived at 7:30am (ish), the Olympic Rep gave us our keys and we were left to fend for ourselves. we felt like we were in a scene from the In Betweeners movie. Upon entering one of our rooms (I think it was 101) we were welcomed with a party of ants crawling all over the floor..well, everywhere actually. The bedding had holes in and was dirty. The second bedroom was not so infested with ants, but we all staggered back out of the door when we opened the fridge, the smell was horrendous. When we first met Hannah she was less than friendly, as we were complaining, although the cleaners did sort our rooms out (although the ants never gave up - we bought ant killer spray from the supermarket and gassed them out). The shower wasnt the best either, you'll be lucky to get 'warm' - seems only freezing or scalding is possible. In the second apartment there were 2 single beds and a sofa bed - soon to be termed 'the prison bed' - it was impossible to sleep on, and at one point my friend was nearly sick the pillow smelt that bad....3 girls ended up sharing the 2 singles. You have to know early on how to approach Hannah. One of the many classic moments on our holiday was when we ordered toast and asked for marmalade rather than jam. Hannah replied you'll get what you're given more or less, as if she had a magic machine that decieded whether you got one or the other! Another time, my friend bought a can of coke and asked for a cup with ice. Hannah said she couldnt have a big cup, because she didnt have many left...what?! On the last day however, she invited us to watch Eastenders with her on her laptop! Strange...! Over the course of the week we managed to suck it up and make the best of a bad situation. The strip club at the end of the road didnt cause any concern, the pool area was quiet (people-wise) but on the other hand you had MTV music channel on repeat all day everyday, I reckon we could list the playlist now! Happy hour for cocktails was good (although dont go for the "Banana Colada")...I recommend Gary's Bar for breakfast, Olive Tree for dinner. There are loads of places to eat nearby, wouldnt recommend eating anything from Bellini's. Dont bother with the air-con, we nearly paid for it but luckily we didnt, when we first entered the room it had an aroma of urine, on closer inspection it was coming from the air con unit. Overall I would not stay here again, but we all still had an amazing holiday....we survived Bellini's and had an awesome time in Ayia Napa - make sure you book on the 'Lazy Day Cruise' and visit Nissi beach...PS - lock your stuff in your suitcase when you go out, I'm fairly confident those cleaners aren't as sweet as they look...

Stayed at the Bellini Bungalows again this year (2012) for our 4th wedding anniversary. Had the same apartment again, thank you to Hannah for arranging that for us again! I love the place because its nice and quiet, and you can get to know other guests.

Our apartment was very clean as usual, we got to know the cleaner Vasoulla well this year, had a good laugh with her every day. Anything we needed, she got for us! We did have a big problem with the ants this year, but her and Yianni, the gardener/maintenance guy sorted them out for us, and we never saw another ant in the apartment for the last week of our holiday!

I would still highly recommend these apartments. Unfortunately from next year, Olympic Holidays haven't got the contract with them, they are taking bookings independently!

Anybody who says these apartments are dirty are not being truthful. They are obviously only used to top class hotels - not self catering apartments!

Room Tip: The one-bed apartments are massive, they have a kettle, toaster, pots and pans and all cutlery you w...

we stay 2 couples for one week. We were met by lovely manager Hanna. If somebody say, that she is "extremely fed up looking women"(KMProctor) it is LIE. We got everything we need, she answered all questions we ask, she prepare nice food. Our rooms 111 and 113 was cleaned every second day. And it's enough. Pool area was clean and nice. So.. for such price it's perfect holidays.

Room Tip: the best rooms in Block C
