Wonderful food, service and atmosphere at tremendous value but why on earth does this restaurant allow people to smoke at the table? It's criminal. Not just for other guests who, no matter how far away you sit, there's no avoiding it, but also for the sake of the food which is absolutely fantastic.
I've been to Vila Joya twice and rate the food and value at Henrique Leis as superior (although Vila Joya has an amazing setting, sea views and no smoking at tables). Portions here are generous and that includes the wine, which is expertly matched. I recommend dining here and would definitely return.
In the meantime, please sort this out the smoking situation on behalf of all diners who enjoy great food and a great experience.
