“Absolutely fantastic”

I had a meal here last week, it was absolutely delicious, staff were so professional and attentive. The atmosphere was great and it was busy considering it is quiet season which is always a good sign! Plenty of parking and easy to get to! I would recommend it to anyone. The sweet plate which is a mini version of 6 of the deserts is absolutely fantastic! Enjoy

“Traditional, expensive French cuisine”

Known all over the place by the rich this restaurant is exclusive, not only by the reception you experience, but also for the price you pay for the food and drinks you get.

“Small World it is”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

Lovely foods, notably the specials of the day , a Trilogy of Prawns , Rack of Lamb , plus the usual menu classics at this fine restaurant . The Raspberry 3 layered desert is a MUST.

The service was very good ( but one waitress looked glum all night ) , the only thing holding back an excellent rating is the point made in other reviews ......it is a bit pricey , and not really for families with young children.

But , I will be back ......this is a classy place.

“Reliable good quality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

A charming restaurant with long-serving staff (always a good sign). Tucked away on a back lane but not too difficult to find, a large easy car park and a pleasant entrance. You're normally spotted approaching and welcomed warmly at the door; then into the (rather small) pre-dinner drinks bar with (in winter) a roaring fire. I've only dined there in winter, and enjoyed the little patio out back for quiet smoking; I could imagine it's good in summer to eat outside.

A menu which hasn't changed in years - if it works and is popular, why change. A good varied choice of starters and of mains so you should find something to suit your mood. If you'd like it, helpful and knowledgeable advice on wines from Elena, the lady sommelier.

Beautifully presented dishes, cooked perfectly and tasting wonderful; not over-large helpings but for most people just right.

This is not a snooty top of the range classy show-off restaurant, so the atmosphere is very civilised without trying to be intimidating. It's likely to feel pleasantly comfortable for those used to the best and to feel pleasingly impressive for those used to less pricey eating.

Given it's consistency (same staff, same menu) you are unlikely to find an "off" evening and I'd expect you're unlikley to have a disappointing meal.

“Although good, Pequeno Mundo is not “pequeno” (small) with their prices.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

The menu is basically French. The food is good, but the place is starting to look tired- definitely in need of some TLC. Time to update the decor a bit. Pequeno Mundo could do with lowering their prices.
