We entered this place by chance - we dined the evening before at Spirito Divino and were really disappointed.
But then we found this place, sat down at the beautiful terrace and as soon as the waitress arrived we knew this was the place we should have gone to last night. She explained very dish in beautiful detail and it was clear to us that they would cook it with the same passion.
She told us that we unfortunately missed the Head Chef Filippo, but that the Sous-Chef would look after the kitchen - and dam he did! The food was amasing.
It started with a surprise form the kitchen: Trippa di Chianina - a delight! we then shared a starter (Coratella di Chianina) and as a main I had Tartare di Chianina - and that is the best tartar I ever had - just amazing!!! We also shared a bottle of white wine which was not cheap with €17 but definitely worth it!
We paid only €20 p.p including coffee and plus the vino - We had to skip dessert because we originally just came for a light lunch, but when we saw the menu, we had to share at least on starter.
Btw, the menu is in form of a little handwritten diary, so you can see what they served the days before.
The truly amazing food and friendly service made the stay unforgettable - thank you so much!
