A small and charming choice in Bevagna. Chef Filippo is masterful at combining local ingredients of the finest quality into imaginative variations on typical Umbrian cuisine. Clearly diners come from all over Italy as well as abroad. There is a daily menu recited by the hostess (his wife) who could not be more welcoming or patient. There are three or four choices for each course, reflecting the chef's commitment to what is freshest in the market. Flavors of all dishes were especially delicate and intriguing. For dessert don't omit the cold budding topped with olive oil (mmmmm). The outside patio is in a calm tiny piazza with grapes growing along the walls. Delightful choice.
