We loved every moment of our stay. The facilities were first class. The decor was beautiful. We rented the whole place and self catered, giving us a great base for our family vacation. Even with two children under 3, Buttercross was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to be truly a home away from home. The location in the center of the village was great for both entertaining and eating out. An easy stroll to two great parks was perfect for the kids. Even though we self catered Jayne was on hand with all the services available of a full service hotel. Fresh robes and cookies to die for. I can't recommend this B & B highly enough. We can't wait to return and see Bert and Ernie (the spaniels).

What a lovely family you have, it was delightful to see you using the house and enjoying your stay in Abbots Bromley - it certainly seems to have worked well for you. Bert & Ernie have now had their summer hair cuts so the girls will be very impressed! Buttercross lends itself very well to self catering and we hop that more people will use it for that purpose in the future. Hope your homeward journey was pain free and look forward to seeing you again on your next vacation.

Myself and my best friends had yet another wonderful night away at Buttercross this weekend. Jayne was once again the most consummate host and every detail about the B&B was just as perfect as last time. We've already booked for our next stay in October! Jayne, sorry once again that we ate all the brownies, but they really were delicious!! Can't wait for October.

The location of this B &B is ideal - right in the heart of the village. Our host Jayne was very welcoming. Although our en-suite room was clean, the lack of head room made it hard to sit upon the bed and relax. Also, the window did not shut properly, allowing quite a draft. The full breakfast, however was made from quality produce and deliciously cooked. The fruit platter was fresh and abundant.

thanks for your comments, so glad you enjoyed your breakfast. Having such an old building it does have uneven floors, beams and odd shapes; which we feel adds to the ambience so we are sorry your felt your room didn't have the 'head room' - it does however state on our website that the room you chose has low beams and low eaves; if you come to stay again perhaps it would be better to choose 'Buttercross' room on the first floor. We do also have a lovely lounge room overlooking the green that guests are welcome to use to relax.

This was our second trip to Buttercross B&B and Jayne's welcome was just as good as the first time we stayed. Jayne always makes us feel at home and as we stayed in the same room as our previous visit I knew we were going to have a great relaxing time.
We have friends in Abbott's Bromley and will definitely be returning - even if it is just for the cookies !
PS. Thanks Jayne for being so understanding about your new multi coloured towel !

so lovely to see you again, being open just over the year now we are starting to see familiar faces returning which is lovely. No problem re the towel, nothing a good wash didn't remedy! Look forward to seeing you again soon.

You are sure to enjoy a visit to this charming B&B set in the centre of the quaint village of Abbotts Bromley. On arrival you are welcomed by a most gracious host Jayne who greets you with a nice cup of tea and delicous chocolate brownies. The rooms are tastefully appointed with lovely comfortable beds and personal touches. You immediately feel at home and relaxed. Tea, proper coffee and cookies are provided, and the breakfast is a treat, lovely home cooked fresh produce, and home made jam for your toast, yummie! What a fabulous weekend. This is definately a place to go back to.
