We stayed in this hotel for the first time in Jan 2012, indeed it was our first visit to Lech ski resort and we booked through Crystalski choosing half board accommodation. We were met at reception by the charming owner Marion Gafgo and her staff who quickly sorted us out with the keys to our rooms. We were a party of seven adults so had booked 3 double rooms and a single. Our room(20) was just as expected, bright, spotless and spacious and quiet. The bathroom was spotless and well lit. Little disappointed that we did not have a flat screen TV, just an old bulky one but you know what?.... it doesn't really matter...In fact I liked that the TV was situated in the little 'lounge' area of the room as it meant that hubby could watch sport with the sound turned down while I could read my book in bed at night. I had a look at our friends double room on floor 1 and it was a mirror image of ours. Our single friend had a room on the second floor down the corridor from us which was a good size for a single room again spotless and new with 2 big windows, one with a view of the piste and the other of the surrounding mountains. It overlooked the road to the Flexen Pass but he reported that he was never disturbed by traffic at night due to the triple glazing and insulation. The third double room was in the older part of the hotel and it had a wonderful view of the piste from the window, a bright pristine, if small bathroom. This room had a sloping , beamed ceiling and a bed separated from the sitting area by a built-in double wardrobe. Our friends felt that this made the room feel small and that thewood- workmanship in general was not of a high standard.
For all our meals we had a lovely table from which we could see all the other guests' tables and their comings and goings which is always interesting on hols.
Buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious but I disliked the extra charge for hot food such as scrambled eggs etc!...a bit unusual in a four star hotel in Austria.
Evening meals were of the five course variety and in the main every item offered was delicious, varied and freshly cooked... memorable main courses included the lamb cutlets, pink, oozing with flavour and with no extra fat attached.I thoroughly enjoyed the fish which was served on two evenings. If I were to be picky I would have to say that I was disappointed with the dessert each evening which, I felt, was just an after thought by the chef... I craved some nice home made ice-cream,lemon mousse, something wickedly chocolaty etc. Groovey (Gruner vetlinger)white wine was price from 28E...reds similiarly priced....We tended to either have a drink in one of our rooms for pre-dinner drinkies or a glass of prosecco in the small bar area before dinner and found the staff courteous, polite and quite happy to help us in any way and to have a little chat with us when appropriate which showed their professionalism and signified to us that this was a happy place in which to work, thanks to the good management of Marion Gafgo, the owner.
We felt that the bar area was too small for us to return to for apres ski, choosing instead the neighbouring hotel lounges or outdoor bars close to the town centre for a beer or two.
We didn't bother with the small spa area this holiday, opting instead for a leisurely soak in the bath each evening, so I cannot comment on the facilities.
All in all I would return to Hotel Elisabeth if I were to return to Lech.

We stayed here as a family and were immediately impressed with the warm welcome we received. We had booked our three teenagers into a triple room and were given an extra room free of charge, which was fantastic. Their rooms were comfortable, though the bathrooms were quite compact. We had a larger, very nice, room with large bathroom and separate loo. It's in a great location, just a short walk from the lifts. Our room looked out to the side of the hotel and was very quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a boot room at the hotel, but we chose to leave our boots and skis at Strolz at the bottom of the slopes for convenience. The pool and spa area is very attractive and, again, immaculate. Having stayed at the Hirlanda in Zurs several times, by comparison the food at the Elisbath was a little disappointing. It was plentiful and very tasty but more like home cooking than haute cuisine. My only other comment is that the bar area is quite small so if yoy went in a large group (10 or more) you might struggle to sit together before/ after dinner. Other than that I would recommend it.

Our second stay in this hotel. Family run, comfortable rooms which are a good size for a ski hotel. Meals are excellent. Staff very friendly. Nice (free) spa with small pool and steam room. Free wifi in bar.

We have been to this hotel three times now, and every time it has gets better and better. Obviously its a privately run hotel which adds a huge amount of charm and you get to know the very friendly staff by the end of your week, Everything is personalised, you keep the same table that you have every day for breakfast and supper and the bar area means that you meet your fellow guests if you want for dinner.

Key factors:

- The hotel is 2 mins walk from the ski hire/storage, so its very central. The Apres-Ski is three mins stumble away, 5mins allowing for a wrong turn.

- the Rooms are quiet, warm, tidy and very clean, impeccable room service and very comfortable.

- The spa downstairs is great to finish a hard days skiing.

- The food is outstanding here, we ate in for supper every night for the five course supper. It was excellent every night.

The hotel is family owned in the second generation and the owners itself (with their staff) are taking care for their guests.
The hotel has around 30 rooms, so it is not too big. Our room was nice, big and clean. There was plenty of place to storage all the luggage, from which you always have a lot when you go skiing. The hotel is in the center of the village, so you need not more than 5 minutes to the ski lifts.
The personnel of the hotel is friendly and helps you with all you questions.
The hotel has a new wellness area with a pool (& whirlpool), sauna, herbal steam bath and relaxation room.
The hotel offers a very nice breakfast buffet. If you have half-board booked you get a five course dinner.

Stayed in the Elisabeth in January 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hotel is in immaculate condition and is kept spotlessly clean by really friendly staff and they make you very welcome and feel at home. Food is excellent and varied with ample portions even after a hard day skiing. It is a bit of a stroll to the bottom of the slopes if you're in ski boots and carrying skis but to overcome this hire a locker in the shop opposite Strolz in the main street for a reasonable price and you won't have a problem.

We are currently staying at Hotyel Elisabeth for a week. We are with a group of friends with children varying in ages from 9yrs to 17yrs. This is a great hotel. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Breakfasts are large buffets and the evening meals are all excellent and varied. Even if you are on a gluten free diet they understand this and cater for any special dietary requirements.

The bedrooms are comfortable and they offer an evebing turn down service which is a nice touch.

If you are staying for a week, they offer a fondue evening, a piano and another musical evening. There is also a locals bar downstairs which has a great atmosphere for an evening snapps!

There is a small sauna, steam room and pool. However I would not recommend thye massage which is expensive and not that special.

If you are looking for a very well run, family hotel that offers good food and excellent servive then I would highly recommend Hotel Elisabeth,
