While the unit is comfortable and well-positioned in Hastings Street (back off Hastings Street so not bothered by noise from revellers on Hastings Street, the information does not make it clear that the apartment overlooks the main highway along the coast through Noosa. The photograph taken from the balcony must have been taken with a telephoto lens to make the river appear so close, while the river is actually separated from the balcony by a three-lane highway. There are cars, motorcycles, busses, coaches and trucks using this highway day and night. The garbage bins for the Sebel complex are also collected from the garages below the balcony and the bedroom windows at 6am most mornings. Finally, the bus terminal for Noosa Heads was close to the apartment, resulting in noisy, drunken party-goers on Friday and Saturday nights wandering below our windows. As a result, we had to keep all windows and balcony doors closed whenever we were in the apartment. There were no peaceful, leisurely meals on the balcony, and sleep was often disrupted.
