We stayed in a ground floor riverfront apartment which was fantastic. Not sure I'd stay in this complex unless I had a riverfront room. Ground floor was ideal for our family with primary school-aged children as they had direct access to the grass, beach, river and jetty, and we could watch them from our apartment.
It was a shame there were so many kayaks on the beach and boats anchored as on some days it hindered access to the narrow beach and the shallow bits of the river, which became deep not far from the beach. (Guests from all apartments can anchor their boats on the beach so there can end up being quite a few boats with lots of ropes and anchors). It would be good if there was an area designated as boat/kayak free, for playing, paddling and swimming.
The pool area was really good, with a large heated pool (warm some days, cooler on others but always pleasant if you kept moving), a shallow toddler's pool, an outside heated spa and a sauna.
The apartments are individually owned, so I think the quality and inclusions can vary. Ours was nice quality and clean (with the exception of the fleece blankets which were pretty dirty - presumably just folded between guests, not washed). Our apartment didn't have a hairdryer even though it was supposed to have one (I was brought one within 48 hours of requesting it), or a large saucepan (only a small one), and only 4 bread knives, no tissue box, 8 coathangers for 4 people. We were only given one sachet of dishwashing liquid and one of dishwasher powder which isn't enough for an 8 day visit (we asked for another sachet and were given it). Many of the visitors drive from Brisbane or other places, so bring a lot of what they need. If certain things are important to you, you should ask when booking (or bring them with you or buy them from the local shops).
The rooms can get hot in the sunlight. Most of the apartments have a roof/awning, but ours didn't, so we had to close the curtains in the heat of the day to keep out the hot sun (thereby spoiling our view). The air con is in the living room only, but we hardly used it. We mostly opened the windows to let the breeze cool the apartment, and used the ceiling fans (in our apartment they were noisy and clicked and made other funny sounds which was annoying).
Overall it was pretty quiet, although on some nights groups of teenagers used the pool and shouted a lot (and the riverfront bedrooms open to the pool area).
The property was very clean and well maintained. There are three barbecues in the common area and these were really clean.
