I am not a fan of big malls.... They are practical but I prefer browsing and walking into these lovely boutiques and trying to find a special deal. If I am not successful, the experience was still delightful....

When in Australia you had to add a walk along Hastings Street to your travel plans. A real taste of contemporary Australian food, fashion and lifestyle.

Noosa is just lovely. Yes, it is expensive and can veer towards a bit of snobbishness, but you have everything you need for a great holiday. A great selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, anchored on each side by a beautiful national park and a lovely beach, it's definitely on the list of best places for a break in Australia!

It really is like double bay in Sydney. But double is far more expensive.
Still a nice place to stroll and browse, get a coffee, a drink, a nice cream or a Noosa dress. You will know once you go.

Hasting St, in my opinion, is definitely worth seeing if your in Noosa. It's really the hub of the area for shopping, dining and drinking. Main Beach is adjacent and Noosa National Park about 1.5km away. I would recommend finding accommodation nearby because parking is horrendous!! If your going on a nice weekend expect to look for a park for at least 20 minutes (unless your lucky!) Overall there is a wide selection of shops and eateries available so you could probably spend 1-2 hours if your attentive and wanting to shop. If your just walking around and checking out the scene, probably closer to an hour. Lots of tourists but you expect that. A very nice place with good shopping but nothing more than what you would expect for a shopping strip.
