“Afternoon cocktail visit”
Reviewed January 13, 2014 via mobile

I had been asked to check out this new spot for a friend & was happy to oblige. Open faced towards Hastings street it has great presence, & the layout is relaxed & comfortable. We ordered a carafe of Istanbul old ice tea at $38. As refreshing and delightful as it was, it was so loaded with ice that it became almost immediately watery not to mention all that ice made sure there was very little room for actual drink. We added some bar bites to substitute for a light lunch & was pleasantly surprised. Well priced & tasty. We tried the chorizo with relish, salt n pepper squid with lemon & chilli dipping sauce, & v. Chunky chips with vinegar foam, all between $8 & $14. Enjoyed them all. Now if they could just give me some alcohol instead of ice with my cocktail I would consider returning.

“Great night out with friends”
Reviewed January 13, 2014 via mobile

We caught up with friends and had our 3 year old son with us. We did not have a booking and turned up around 5:30pm. Unfortunately they were very busy on this Sunday afternoon however they were very accommodating and set us up at one of the high tables toward the back. We had quick and great service with drinks and meals coming out before we knew it. Our son loved the margarita pizza with his apple juice in a coconut shell. The pulled pork lasagna was large and tasty and the Morton bay bug pasta dish was moist and also a decent size portion.

We left satisfied with our meals and service. They were accommodating with our lack of booking and also with our child. The meals were on the medium to high side of price but worth it. Great place, would go back again next time in Noosa.

“Night club, restaurant, cocktail bar????”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

We booked Miss Moneypenny's Sunday night for 5 adults, 4 kids (teenagers) The music was so loud, we had to yell at each other, the waiter and the waiter in turn yelled at us! I could not work out whether I was in a London Night Club, a cocktail bar or a restaurant, Miss Moneypenny you need to pick one, not all three, IT DOES NOT WORK. We had to use our phone torches to read the menu, too dark! The Pinot was served very warm, wine drinkers know it should be served between 12-14'C, our waiter tried so hard, even asking the DJ to turn down the music. She informed us 3 tables had left because the music was ridiculous……..food was average, Pizza's so salty, overpriced. The only respite was the toilets - it wasn't loud in there and they were clean.
As locals we won't be back, and our guests we brought from Melbourne were not impressed either. Bill was $465 and we didn't even have desert, we went to Aromas at least would could hear each other.

Reviewed January 12, 2014 via mobile

Wow what can we say we where up in noosa a few months ago and saw miss Money Penny's under construction, we had a lovely night at this great new spot, we shared a wonderfully put together platter for 2 we had trouble eating it all so great value and so fresh, the cocktails are a must as well . The staff are all very friendly and the service was outstanding so much that we walked in for lunch the next day straight of the beach, we shared another great meal in a pizza and salad and also another cocktail can't wait to come back .wish the owner would open one up here on the Gold Coast . We have been telling all our family and friends about our new discovery a must to go to in Noosa enjoy

“Lovely Lunch and simply can't wait to return for a Girl's Night!”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

Had a delightful lunch with a girlfriend. The service was outstanding and made the day. We were well attended by three staff who not only provided wonderful service but explained elements of the menu and the cocktails. The atmosphere was fresh and open with a very pleasing layout which allowed for privacy whilst soaking in the sights of Hasting Street.
The cocktail menu itself was enough to have us keen to return with a well thought out and extensive array of choices with a difference and lots of new and interesting elements including a West Indies Yellowbird with muzzled grilled banana. These are a bit more expensive than the average cocktails but they were large and strong. The cocktail menu also included carafes in a variety of cocktails.
We had a selection of the sharing plates which were presented well and were easy to share. We loved that, as locals, we were offered a discount also. Will definitely be back. Gathering the girls for a cocktail night.
