Great accommodation, stayed in 2 bed apartment which was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Right on Hastings street with fab cafes and shops. Friendly helpful staff. Brilliant holiday! Pool area was great. Our daughter loved the kids pool and spa.

We still need to check online if it's the same hotel we selected because that stay was a bit of a disappointment.. The location is great, the building would be a lot nicer if they just took a bit more care of the place. Pool area is crowded with chairs and loungers, feels like Italian Riviera in peak season, the staircases, kitchenettes, bathrooms all need a proper scrub down. Some people may like it, we find it odd to have a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom sacrificing much needed space for a larger and better bed. We enjoyed our stay in Noosa and would return there at the next opportunity however not to that hotel. We expect more from a 200+$ / night accommodation.

Stayed here after booking on a website - cost almost $300 per night room only. Checked in and was given a room on the ground floor, asked for a higher floor (thouight there were views) and was given a room on the 2nd floor.
The room was spacious, the bed magnificantly comfortable, a full sized fridge, and a lounge area with tv that worked intermittently and kept shutting down completely. Didint complain about this as it wasnt a huge issue but let them know when we checked out.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, parked the car and didnt get it out again for 3 days, the worst thing is the noise. QLD school hols were over but apparently NZ school hols wernt and the pool and surrounds were like an aquatic day care centre and we didnt swim once. I have kids and appreciate the family holiday with young ones but the yelling / screaming / crying was relentless and a persistent pain in the neck so the balcony door were mostly closed. Also our balcony looked on the about 12 others so if you want privacy keep the sheer curtains drawn... : 0. The hotel isnt doing anything wrong... but I personally wouldnt stay here again.

This resort is well designed with main blocks of accommodation surrounding a pool. Also located in quiet corner is a children's pool and a spa. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, Staff are brilliant - efficient, friendly and "can-do". Loved our stay here and would recommend this resort without hesitation.

We just returned from a weeks stay at the Sebel. Situated right on Hastings Street the position couldn't be better for shops and restaurants and the beach is a very short stroll across the road and up a short pathway and there you are. We had a one bedroom appartment with a huge bathroom with shower and spa bath, very well appointed kitchenette handy for a snack or heating up food and the fridge is full size and not a little bar fridge. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were just perfect which is very unusal in holiday accomodation. There were two tvs one in the lounge and one also in the bedroom. The appartment also had a loggia with outdoor table and chairs and a pullout clothes line. The downside was that the appartment was side on to the complex nextdoor and the pool area was quite noisy especially at night, there is no wifi in the appartment however, you can get it for $12 a day or use the single public computer in the reception area for 15 minutes for free, although at night the connection seemed to be down and we had to wait until the next day. Also for an appartment so spacious the wardrobe in the bedroom was tiny and mostly filled with spare blankets and pillows, hardly enough room even with the blankets removed for two people to store clothes for a weeks stay. The appartment is kept spotlessly clean by the staff that do the daily servicing and the security is very good with undercover parking that is secured also. The staff were very helpful and all in all we enjoyed our stay at the Sebel.

Thank you Mizzjupiter,

Thank you for staying at The Sebel Resort Noosa. I appreciate your comments and highlighting the features you enjoyed.

Installing wi-fi is very much on the radar, and we are in the final stages of getting an install date soon.

I do appreciate your comment about the wardrobe space. While the rooms have some great architectual features, and have been made very well, the built in robes in a handful of rooms is small. Most rooms though have rather large wardrobe space. With your comment, I might put that issue back on the top of the to-do list. A possible solution may be to place the spare pillows and blankets in a purpose built bed seat or trunk. Leave it with me, you have given me a great challenge!

Thanks again, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Noosa soon.

Regards,
Cameron

First the positives, the Sebel Resort is in an excellent location right in the heart of Hastings Street Noosa. Apartments are very comfortable - spacious, clean, light, airy and well-equipped with everything you need, and the bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've experienced. Staff were also very helpful in trying to accommodate our needs. The only negative for us was the noise from children in the pool. Most of the rooms overlook the pool and for the whole of our 5-day stay the noise from kids yelling and screaming was deafening, even with the balcony doors closed! I note other comments on Trip Adviser on this issue, and maybe we were unlucky in our choice of time (even though it was out of school holidays). We would certainly consider the Sebel for our next stay in Noosa but would only stay if we could be assured of a room away from the pool.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool can be very noisy when there are a lot of children in the pool.

Good day PaddyandJohnsgirl,

Thank you for staying with us recently. I do appreciate your great comments.

We do get a few families staying with us this time of year, and while there is nothing like the sound of children laughing, after 5 days I can understand it can get a little too much! I can tell you though, there are plenty of times through the year when the resort is mainly couples, and poolside is a completely different environment (sometimes a little too quiet!). If looking for a nice relaxing stay in Noosa, avoid the school holidays and a week either side of it, and you should be right.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Noosa sometime soon for a more romantic getaway.

Regards,
Cameron
