Description: The new cool in Noosa dining is at Gaston Bar Bistro. A stylish and edgy fit out, the restaurant boats an incredible selection of food and wine. The service is relaxed and friendly. Snacking is something Gaston excels in. If you are just dropping in for a glass of Ribeauville pinot blanc or a Peroni - hit the Chinese chicken or the pizzetta or maybe a little iron pot of sizzling garlic prawns to share.

“Love this place, fantastic food!”

This is a cool trendy place to eat with a great food and wine selection. Watch the hussle and bussle of the hastings street roundabout go by. Booking are a must for larger tables.

“Mid week special”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed the mid week special ($50 for two mains and a bottle of wine) along with a couple of entrees. The duck spring rolls were wonderful as was the sashimi.
We had the lamb and the duck for mains and both were delish, particularly the lamb risotto, especially for the price. The wine was certainly drinkable.
Our waiter was professional and the restaurant had a good feel about it.

“AMAZING!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

I went their with my family and was amazed by the quality of the food. the Sichuan lamb ribs are by far the best starter. followed by eye fillet that just falls apart.the fres fish and chips is a large size and is good for kids who want to share and the truffled potatoes are delicious. The best desserts were the coconut panacotta and the milk chocolate brulee. All the meals were perfectly balenced and all the food was unbelievable. As this is from a child's point of view I
Think that kids will love gaston

“Fantastic food, top service and even better value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2013

Today we had a one of those "tell everyone" (or maybe we should keep it a secret so it isn't spoilt by too many customers?) experiences. Gaston at Noosa, is an unbelievable find in a town that has some fairly variable standards of food and service. We were there for lunch and 4 of us ate a variety of entrées, mains and deserts - every dish was a winner. Subtle flavours, imaginatively conceived (or do you "design" a menu item?) beautifully served and presented. If they have them when you go there you must try the duck spring rolls and the barramundi and red curry dumplings as starters. Then move to the superb pasta orecchiette with prawns, chilli and lemon, that tastes better than any pasta dish any of us mere mortals have eaten. ($17 including a Peroni beer or a house wine - and flavours to die for! Heartily recommended.

“Great food, great wine list, awesome service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

All the "small things" as starters are worth trying. We had the tuna special as a main & it was cooked to perfection. We ate out 7 nights in Noosa & Gaston had the best combo of food, wine list & service.
