We stayed at the Noosa Shores Resort for one week 24th Feb-2nd March 2012. These apartments are absolutely on the river front at Noosa Sound, which is mid way between Noosa Heads (Hastings Street - 15 mins walk) and Noosaville (25 mins walk). From all the apartments you have a view over the heated swimming pool to the river. We had apartment 26 on the top floor (3 storey building), the only downside of this is that there is no lift. The apartment was very spacious, fully renovated and well furnished. Very good well equiped, modern kitchen. Bathroom was very modern and stylish, with great "walk in" shower. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer also. Both bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and good linen. There is a large underground car park.
The pool area is really nice and spacious, there is also a toddler pool, and there are very good BBQ facilites with plenty of tables and chairs .

Noosa Shores is right next door to Quamby Place, which has 2/3 restuarants, a convenience shore and bottle shop. The Noosa to Tewantin ferry also stops here. It is an easy level 15 mins walk to Hastings Street with lots of restuarants, bars and cafes or there are buses & taxis. We found there was plenty of free parking around Hastings Street at the time we were staying.
Noosaville also has lots of restaurants and it was nice to alternate between the two areas. It is a very pleasant 45mins walk from Noosa Shores, all along the riverside beside Noosaville into Tewantin, more cafes/restaurants are here and you can always catch the ferry back to Noosa Shores (Quamby Place stop) if you fon't fancy the return walk.

Angela, the manager at Noosa Shores, was great, from our very first enquiry via email she was just so helpful and did everything she could to ensure we had a great stay. We would certainly stay here any time we were visiting Noosa.

One small negative, they could do with more loungers around the pool area, I think in the busy season there would not be enough to go around.

Room Tip: Check which apartments have been fully renovated/modernised. They are all privately owned and do va...

My husband and I recently stayed at Noosa Shores Resort for four nights. The location of the resort suited us well with an easy 9 minute walk to Hastings Street. There was a convenience store, wine shop and a couple of good restaurants practically next door. The apartment (28) we had was clean and extremely well appointed with everything you could possibly want. The swimming pool was exceptional and the view from the apartment over the pool and river was amazing. You could sit on the balcony and never tire of the view. The bedrooms in this apartment do face on to a main road and the traffic can be noisy at times but we had no problem sleeping. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest an apartment backing on to the park. The manager - Angela is the most bubbly friendly person and will do anything to make sure her guests have a wonderful stay. She certainly made ours.

Room Tip: Apartment 28 was great but you do have to walk up the stairs as it is on the 3rd floor and there is...

My partner and I stayed at Noosa Shores after having a very negative experience with another resort in Noosa. This is the 4th time in 10 years we have stayed at Noosa Shores and only booked elsewhere as at the time of booking Noosa Shores was full. Fortunately we benefitted from someone else having to cancel. We would now not consider going anywhere else. It's within walking distance of great restaurants, the shops, beach and national park. The facilities are exceptional and the heated waterfront pool has to be the best in Noosa. You can sit on your balcony or in the living room and see all the action on the Noosa river as well as the sunset. Angie, the manager goes out of her way to ensure her guests have a wonderful stay. I cannot say one thing negative about it but I do have some hesitation writing this as it may be booked out again when we want to go!

Room Tip: They are all good depending on your needs but we like the ones behind the pool facing directly to th...

We stayed a week at Noosa Shores Resort with our family of 3 kids. We booked a three bedroom apartment, our unit was great as it had just been renovated so had a new kitchen, bathroom and ensuite.

The best thing about Noosa Shores is
- Location, literally next door to the shops and restaurants at Quamby Place and only a 900 metre walk to Hastings St and Main Beach.
- the pool and BBQ area. These overlook the river so great for relaxing while watching the river traffic. The pool is large and heated so very comfortable. There is a semi-detached wading pool for toddlers. There are 2 BBQs (each with tools, great service), a sink and about 6 large outdoor tables and chairs. There is a sunshade over the top so you can usually choose to sit in the sun or the shade.

Had a great meal next door at Tempo. They have a great kids menu (that actually includes vegetables!) as well as yummy stuff for parents. While the kids were waiting for their meal they burned off energy at the adjacent playground (a side point - Noosa seriously needs to pull its finger out with better playground equipment, all the parks are very average).

I highly recommend Noosa Shores Resort and will stay next time we head up to beautiful Noosa.

Room Tip: Unit 15 had just been renovated. Bonus!

For our first family holiday in Noosa, we couldn't have asked for a better place. From our first contact with the resort, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and this continued right thoughout our stay. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the main areas of Hastings St and Noosaville, with the bus stop to both, just outside the front door. Our room had the most amazing view, and was fully fitted and perfectly clean. Everything you could want when travelling with a young family. The only down side to the resort is the lack of fencing between the BBQ area and the river. It meant we had to be very vigilent while using the area. On the whole though, an excellent experience. We will definately stay there again.
