Clean and well patrolled. Very relaxing, you can just waste your day away in the warmth of the winter sun! We love this time of year. It is great being able to leave the shops and walk straight onto the beach.

The beach IS Noosa!
This magnificent stretch of beach is about 1 km long and is extremely clean and clear of rocks etc. It is monitored by the local surf life saving club.

At low tide there is lots of shallow water for the smaller children to play, and at the same time there is an area for surfers.

A boardwalk travels most of the way along the beach and expensive units look out over the beach.
There are a number of food outlets, bars and restaurants situated just off the beach.

A fabulous play to stay

There were very few beach umbrellas out the week we were there, perhaps this is an opportunity for some enterprising individual to establish a beach umbrella/chair hire service as is the case at Cable Beach in Broome.

Noosa especially in the windy SE months is especially nice because it escapes the wind and never ceases to be amazing even if a touch cold to swim ;)

The Noosa beach is totally sheltered from the ocean wind and the waters are calm. It is quite a large beach providing for peaceful sleep on the pristine sand. If you are practicing long swims this place is ideal. The water is turquoise and warm all year around.
