Coastal views are breathtaking and the inland bush tracks are a walking meditation! A nice little coffee bar at the entrance to watch the surfers before you set off and plenty of toilet facilities along the way. Take a picnic or fire up the barby and look up for the resident Koala in the tree tops!

We took the tanglewood walk which was about 5km for a round trip. OK, so the parking isn't great around there but within minutes it feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere. Well-marked tracks, beautiful forestry and if you're lucky, a bit of local wildlife. Spotted a Silk Monitor, a few little lizards, a small brown snake (it scarpered quickly thankfully) and a Koala on the way in. There are a few different routes and all are different and beautiful in their own right. We ended up cutting onto the coastal track on the way back for stunning views of the ocean and a little coastal rainforest. At certain times of the year you may be lucky and spot migrating whales and pods of dolphins from points up here.
One word of warning, Alexandria beach is off this track, lovely beach but you may see a little more 'nature' than you intended as it's a nudist beach! After quite literally spotting our mistake, we turned back up the path and carried on!

Well worth the visit in my opinion :-)

We had hoped to start at the Noose Heads end of the track but could not get a park in the main car park area at the start of the track due to surfers camping for the day in the very limited spaces available. We navigated our way to Sunshine Beach and were able to walk into Alexandria Beach which was beautiful and wild due to the unsettled weather. The local council needs to look into their parking problem as we weren't the o ly ones driving in circles.

Noosa National Park is a 'must visit' when in Noosa. There are several different walks of various lengths and difficulties. I did the longer walk, which is about 7 k's with my 2 small'ish children (5 & 7 years), and all 3 of us loved it, loved it, loved it, beautiful landscape, breathtaking views, amasing all the way!
