On our first visit to Noosa we saw this restaurant from the beach and imagined the dining experience of the patrons, overlooking the bay as it does. The next day we wondered what to do for lunch so, turning our backs on the many fine eateries on Hastings St we headed off to the surf club. It's internal presentation is a bit paradoxical. We had to sign in as visitors and the bar only accepted cash. We ordered food from the limited no-frills but good value menu and queued up to pay by credit card. The food arrived promptly and was of excellent quality. If we lived in Noosa we would certainly be regular patrons - not for a treat but for the unbeatable combination of good grub and great views.

Compliments to the chef! The grilled swordfish that I ordered for lunch on Tuesday was expertly cooked and very very good.

We ate breakfast here last Sunday while the Ironman competition was going on the beach outside the club.

They have a grea, reasonably priced t breakfast menu, plenty of options from Muesli, beautiful fresh fruits right through to the classic big breakfast perfect for the Ironman in your group! My cappuccino was also excellent.

It was a very hot, steamy morning and the bistro is open to the verandah at the back but the club's excellent airconditioning and fans made it a pleasnt place to eat.

I'd be happy to return.

We were up for a bit of surf club/pub meal action so we headed over for dinner and a few brews the night before leaving.

This place was really nice inside and its what you'd expect from an upmarket surf life saving club. The food was great, although the line to the order was slow.

Great service in general, with food coming out very quickly after being ordered.

The view is straight out over the main beach at Noosa Heads.

Its not the prettiest place in Hastings street, and the food isn't off the planet, but it'd just a really nice and comfortable place to great a pub type meal and a few drinks.

Loved it.
