Had lunch at Wasabi (only open certain days for lunch so please check)... it is worth going to lunch as it is over the Noosa River. We caught the little ferry which picks you up from the back of the Sheraton and it is the first drop off right outside Wasabi. The menu is amazing and the knowledge of the staff first rate! There is a degustation menu if you wish or a la carte - which is what we went for. The sashimi was delicious and fresh and changes daily - ours was trout, bream, kingfish, tuna and oysters. Ask for the freshly grated wasabi (from Tasmania) it is so worth the money for the proper true taste of wasabi (not the tube of horseradish coloured green). We followed this with wonderful wagyu gyoza, boned and stuffed spatchcock and a fish and prawn dish with a corn broth - all excellent, all served with wonderful herbs and vegetables mostly from their farm in the hinterland. If we had been staying longer I definitely would have gone to Wasabi again. Please go - it is brilliant!
