The Outrigger Apartments were quite nice inside but it didn't feel like being at the beach as it was nestled in amongst the trees - something I didn't know about beforehand. Access to Hastings Street is fine so long as you're prepared to walk up the hill at night, or drive around to the other entry gate after hours. We found it hard to find the place also, it's not where it looks like it is on a map - access is via Viewland Drive.

I would also recommend wandering down to the main strip for meals as the food at the hotel restaurant was a bit too 'try hard' and didn't really overwhelm us. Having said that though, we like nice food, so don't let it deter you if you're after something familiar and done adequately.

Overall it was clean, convenient enough for a weekend away and quiet.

Rating three of the five stars suggests we failed to meet with your expectations.

Your reference to a map (all that present the resort located between two roads that terminate in the Noosa National Park) and all booking supply channels, and indeed at the top of this forum, clearly identifying the unique dual access (From 7am Viewland Dr, From 7pm Little Hastings St., Noosa) so I’m unsure how you were expecting to be on the beach or that the resort would have beach views?

I also respect your recommendation to wander down the hill to Hastings Street for dining but there is neither reference in your comments here nor identification of other venues within your 26 reviews identifying an alternate so that we may qualify to address your concerns. Over the last year we have doubled our covers conversion and doubled our average spend in View on Little Hastings Restaurant and our conference delegates’ positive comments on F&B and service delivery see PCO rebooking events year on year so we have some confidence now of our product, positioning and pricing amongst the wide options from Surf Club to Berardo’s.

It is unfortunate we were unable to overwhelm you with our food and our physicality provided for such inconvenience; perhaps we may be in a position to welcome you back in the future should your intent for travel have a different focus at the time. Certainly, please feel free to contact us directly prior to any booking commitment should you have any further query about our facilities, product and services.

We stayed here in October & had a wonderful time. This was our third trip to Noosa & the only time we have really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a balconly with a very beautiful tropical outlook. The only issue I had was there didn't seem to be any directions on how to get into the resort during the day. There is one way in at night & different way out during the day. A little more signage would be a great help

Room Tip: We booked a mystery deal through Wot-if & were glad it was the Outrigger. We suspected from the...

Signage and access.

One of the more interesting comments regarding signage and access is the acknowledgement the on first access down the daytime driveway there is an unmistakable build of anticipation and excitement on what lies ahead. A unique access to an even more unique resort. Part apartment complex, part tree house. An eco friendly hideaway only a short stroll from the shopping mecca of Hastings Street and the iconic Noosa beach.

Glad you had a wonderful time and at least next time you’ll know exactly where you need to come in from - From 7am Viewland Dr, From 7pm Little Hastings St., Noosa

Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

The Outrigger on Little Hastings Street is amazing. Great location, great views, great staff, nothing is too much trouble. It will be the only place I'll ever stay at Noosa again.

Love your work guys!

The outrigger is a great relaxing place for a holiday. There are excellent opportunities for lots of walks either through the national park, by the beach or heading uphill to Laguna lookout. The venue also offers a courtesy buggy ride at certain times of the day down the 300 meter driveway to the beginning of the Main Street if you don't feel like walking. The staff are friendly. In particular Adam was fantastic with his recommendations and general advice.

Good afternoon,
This morning I attended an AICD breakfast at the Palmer Resort and Spa Coolum with Professor Clive Palmer. His address covered much ground in a short period of time but what is without doubt is his passion for Queensland and the Sunshine Coast.

The Sunshine Coast is certainly one of Australia’s premier holiday destinations. So pleased to hear you had a relaxing short break whilst here in Noosa and, more so, that you took advantage of the walking trails through the Noosa National Park and along Noosa Beach.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Spent a couple of nights here for the recent Triathlon weekend, and couldn't really have asked for a better base! The room was actually quite large and well designed, with plenty of free parking available too. The room didn't have much of a view, but then I knew that when I booked so can't complain! Breakfast was fantastic, and well worth including on your booking, and the 25 metre lap pool was a real gem, even on a busy weekend this pool (rather than the resort pool lower down) seemed pretty quiet the whole time. Staff were pleasant and friendly throughout, would definitely return.

Good morning and thank you,
My only concern being of what your expectations were based prior to arrival.
We are most proud to be part of the Noosa Tri and thrilled you found the property suitable for your stay during this incredible event. Celebrating 30 years, from the opening ceremony through to the race itself it was a highlight in the 2012 calendar.
We look forward to welcoming you back again next year but, if not booked already, ask you check availability fairly quickly as most who stayed this year have already re-booked for 2013.

What an awesome resort set in idyllic settings, and so close to where we wanted to be in Noosa Heads. 2 nights was all we needed to unwind and enjoy. We felt happy to really utilise the room instead of making it a drop in & out base, because it was comfortable, luxurious and very stylish. No complaints there - EXCEPT we were not used to a very hard bed, I thought it was just me as I was nearly 8 months pregnant, but hubby too found it uncomfortable also. I used the dayspa onsite and can only say great things about it, a lovely relaxing experience. My hubby loved the pool, however I tried, but couldn't stand it not being heated! Unfortunately we tried to use the steam room after a swim, only to find it wasn't working - however after informing reception I was told the maintenance team were aware of it and had scheduled to fix it. Such a beautiful resort none the less with staff that went the extra mile from changing us to a room with a bath at my request, to coming to pick us up from the bottom of the hill without me even asking! Would so go there again, and wish to take family with me next time.

Room Tip: *If you don't mind compromising a view (of native bush), you can choose a room of the same value...

Congratulations and all the best for mom and bub. We look forward to welcoming you and family back next time.

Oh, pools are heated to 26 degrees but with us moving so quickly between day temperatures of 21 to 31 regulating them at the minute is more art then science.

Thank you for the positive review and feedback, it is certainly accepted and appreciated.
