“Excellent hotel, great room, lovely staff, wonderful breakfast”
Reviewed November 2, 2012

Stayed in park view room and it was lovely, all decor was new, clean and spacious.

We had cook top, fridge, sink, microwave, dishwasher plus crockery and utensils.
Also, lovely balcony, sofa, tv and DVD plus tv in bedroom and also washing machine and dryer.

Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Location was great, 5 min walk to Hastings street and main beach. Also the coastal walk can be accessed from main beach which was great. Walk was easy and pleasant.

Ate at outrigger View restaurant 3 times in 8 days - it was awesome. Staff were great and so friendly especially Kim and Stephanie.
The pork belly starter is better than we had at Gordon Ramsey's in London. Worth the trip just for that :-)

Buffet breakfast awesome and filled us up until an early dinner. Bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, English muffins, plus pastries fruit etc etc. staff were great at breaky too really friendly and helpful.

It was our last trip alone before we have our first baby in march but we're looking to try and go back in late December as we had such a great time.

Thanks to everyone, we have travelled a lot but would rate this as one of our most relaxing holidays to date.

I would whole heartedly recommend this lovely resort and its fantastic staff.

Well... the pork belly starter is better than we had at Gordon Ramsey's in London
You certainly know how to grab the attention of our Executive Chef. I thank you. Michael has proudly delivered a menu that has developed strong local attention and rapidly growing word of mouth status from our guests.
We recognise the experience of dining on Hastings Street is lure for guests and friends but we are thrilled to hear you not only joined us for one night of your stay, but also returned again...and again.

I can’t say enough about my fantastic staff; it is an honour to work with them and, as is so often commented within this forum, they genuinely enjoy their role as host and deliver daily on our mission to provide our guests distinctive hospitality and value. Your comments and recommendations appreciated.

My boyfriend and I are regular visitors to Noosa and have stayed in a number of places.

The Outrigger Little Hastings has a resort feel with great amenities. The lagoon pool and bar are a great afternoon spot for a dip and cocktails. Stephanie's Spa has a wonderful atmosphere that whisks away all your stress as soon as you enter. The fitness centre provides a couple of treadmills, a cross-trainer, lifecycle bike and some weight machines. Enough to get a good workout in. The View restaurant was a great spot for breakfast. We didn't eat there for lunch or dinner, because we went to our favorite Hastings st and Noosaville restaurants/cafes.

At the national park end your not far away from the walking tracks to the melting pot and hells gate.

The staff were friendly and house keeping must have had surveillance on our room, because no matter what we left for breakfast, when we got back our room had been serviced!

Only downfall was we were in the Bayview rooms and everything echoed. So you hear everyones conversations when out on the balcony or walking past the rooms.

All in all though a great place to anchor yourself in Noosa!

Good morning and thank you. Great to hear you both enjoy more than the accommodation when visiting Noosa. We look forward to welcoming you back on your regular visits and, with the reputation Chef Michael is gaining with the locals, perhaps one night in for dinner in View on Little Hastings may provide you even more choice on your list of favourites. See you again soon.

Booked one night in 2x2 bedroom apartments for my hen's night, myself and 7 friends were staying. Got a bit confused when we first arrived as we tried to enter through the Little Hastings St entry but it was closed, so then we had to figure out how to get to the other one!

Upon check-in, we had been upgraded to a 3 bedroom Treetop villa, (they supplied rollaways, which was fine) and it was fab. three separate bedrooms, three bathrooms, a garage even a media room and two balconies. The bathrooms are fantastic. It was so big!

We went down to Hastings St for dinner so we called reception and asked for a lift down on the golf buggies, which was fine.

The only downside to our stay was we were only there one night, and didn't feel we had enough time to enjoy the room.

One night in Noosa. Rookie mistake.

Congratulations on your hens night and all the very best for your big day. Perhaps we’ll see you back with your other half, but then, a short break away with the girlfriends, Champagne and nibbles on the deck, a pamper of two in Stephanies Spa and a long lunch overlooking Noosa Beach and sundowner up at Brooks Pool overlooking Noosa and Laguna Bay... decisions decisions...

The wife and I stayed for 7 nights in October and absolutley loved our stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The resort itself is lovely, with beautiful bushy surrounds, no immediate neighbours, and a nice pool.
Our package included a great buffet breakfast.
The room was very comfortable (1 bedroom national park view room), and included a small but functional kitchenette. Two TV's (one in the bedroom), iPod dock, DVD player, full laundry, massive balcony, and the dual shower was an added bonus. It feels like you're in a self-contained unit, but with the daily cleaning service and other advantages of being in a resort.
We also had a couple of treatments at the spa which was awesome and highly recommended.
Don't even give the short walk to Hastings Street a second thought, it seriously took us less than 5 minutes (even with one of us being pregnant). Then once you're back at the resort you feel like you're a million miles away.
The only minor gripe we had was the kitchen was not supplied with simple staples (salt, pepper, oil), which you wouldn't buy for a short stay, but not a big deal.
Will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: National park view room was very quiet and comfortable. We were on level 1 which unfortunately direc...

Many thanks. Your review is much appreciated and we very much look forward to your next stay.

Personally, I’m humoured by your comments on the walk up and down to Hastings Street. Age, demographic and (with your comments) pregnancy status, would appear to have little influence on the distance or degree of difficulty. Truth be told, no matter what your age, its still fun to get a ride on the buggy – perhaps because so few have the novelty at home. After two years or trial and error in managing this complementary / complimentary service we believe we have achieved the best compromise between serviceability, guest service and, well, fun factor. Thanks for adding to the debate on this forum.

Anyway, we look forward to welcoming you, and family, back to stay again soon.

Thanks again.

Although this 5 star hotel is located quite close to the main stretch of Noosa, it is still hidden away and in a quiet setting. Pool is great, rooms are great, staff are super great. A few pieces of furniture (including doors) in our room were faulty but I still rate this hotel high. Absolutely loved my stay here, hopefully will come back in the future. There's a few native visitors too - bush turkeys!

Room Tip: I just had a 1 bedroom apartment - wonderful and modern! Great balcony.

I recently stayed at The Outrigger on Hastings Resort and found the resort to be a lovely place to stay The staff were all very helpful, happy and it was obvious they were there to ensure we enjoyed our holiday My only negative comment is that it was sometimes a struggle to get to our apartment We were at the very top and as the buggies only run at limited times the walk proved somewhat difficult at times Otherwise a fabulous place and the food at the restaurant was amazing

Wife and I stayed for a long weekend getaway for our anniversary.
Room was comfortable. Semi self contained with view over the forest (you can't escape it). It had everything we needed, with separate lounge from the bedroom. A bigger fridge would have been good if you wanted to use the kitchen facilities for a longer stay.
King size bed was comfy and had a great sleep.
They need to put a door from the bathroom to the bedroom. No big deal for me and my wife, but there are still some times in life when you need your privacy.
Breakfast was great and had all the trimmings. Pool was a little small and had to get in early for a lounge, plenty of kids about too. That's OK, but we will know for next time.
Would go back again, but probably not for an anniversary getaway.

Congratulations on your anniversary.
Unfortunate the timing of an intended romantic getaway in the middle of school holidays; with Noosa one of the premier family holiday destinations it is certainly far more lively throughout the resort at this time.
Thank you for your comments and we look forward to welcoming you back.
