Diamond Forest Farm Stay

The owners Jenny and Mark are very friendly and helpful and have made our stay very pleasant even though the weather was not so obliging. The cottage faces the paddock and there were many animals on the farm - chickens, turkeys, peacocks, sheep, goats, ducks, horses, rabbits and even a joey. In addition, guests were allowed free use of the amenities such as a games room with table soccer and air hockey and a dvd libray.. There is a lake in the farm where guests can canoe and fish. We joined Mark in the morning to feed the animals in the farm. We stay in the 2-bedroom Orchard cottage which is cosy and very clean.

Mark and Jenny are very nice and great host's to the Diamond Cottages. Every morning at 9am they take us around to feed the animals which you can have a one on one interaction with, (this kept the children very happy). They provide in the cabin a folder with places to go and places to eat, which we found very handy the first time we came. The cabins are very cosy and clean, also they have spectacular views. This is the second time we have been and we recommend the Diamond cottages very highly!. We will be there again =]

Lost count of the number of stays we've had at Diamond Forest. It is our base camp whilst enjoying the pleasures of the forests, vineyards, restaurants and scenery of the Manjimup and Pemberton region, coupled with a round or 3 of golf at the Manjimup Country Club. Each visit we relish the companionship that Mark and Jennny offer and know that the chalets will be in spic and span condition. A real escape from city life.

mark and jenny were fabulous hosts - we felt so welcome. They really took time with us and our little boy Harry to make sure we made the most of our stay and everything the region has to offer. Harry loved his time on the farm with the animals! Thank you for helping to make our 4 days so special.

Jenny & Mark were amazing! Their kindness and hospitality really made our trip special. The cottages were the perfect size and contained everything we needed for our stay. They were perfectly positioned so that you could have your privacy, or if you wanted to visit the next cottage, it was only a short walk. The animals, games room, the lake and canoeing were a wonderful distraction for the kids or adults alike. The scenery provided a peaceful haven to go for walks or just soak up the landscape. Not one family member wanted to leave. Thankyou for a beautiful wedding stay!

Picked this place after the good reviews on this site and were SO GLAD we did.

Good location between Manjimup and Pemberton but the only problem was we never felt like leaving our cottage to go anywhere! The whole cottage was comfortable, spotless and well-equipped. The problems with the water heater in past reviews have been resolved and we had no problems there.

The kids have never had a better holiday and anytime they wanted they could step out to feed the animals, use the games room (free air-hockey!!!) or play the board games supplied with every cottage. For the rest of the family there were the great views and walks, well-maintained and equipped kitchen, DVDs (plenty of kids ones), even some magazines to read. Mark is a real animal lover and good with the kids - even took the time to show them the ducklings and chicks he kept in the garage- this is in addition to taking everyone around to feed the animals in the morning.

Would definitely go back there given the chance - the whole place and service we received was outstanding!

One of the cottage is pet-friendly and that's the reason we booked 3 nights in it. Between my friend and I, we've stayed in 3 other pet-friendly accomodation and this is considered the best of all.

There's a little fenced-up yard for the dog to stay in when we ventured to national parks. A forest just opposite the road for walks. Lots of friendly animals... sheep, cows, peacock, ducks, chickens, turkeys... (though the donkeys are too persistent in going after the dog so visit them without your dog!).

The house is well insulated so it's not very cold even in winter nights. The wood stove is enough to warm up the living hall. Very well-equipped kitchen. Clean and cosy rooms (with electric blankets). The water from the rain tank is very tasty.

If I really have to pick on the place, it would just be the inconsistent temperature of the shower, the tv which is placed too high... and... that's it!

Well located almost right in the middle of two towns (15mins to Pemberton and 10mins to Manjimup).
