Jenny & Mark are fantastic hosts - the accommodation was good - best bed I've sleep in while on the road for many years - we all enjoyed the animals, especially our 2yo daughter. Have recommended it to severval friends already.

We stopped here for 2 nights with our 4 year old and 14 month old. They had a great time feeding the animals each day. Jenny and Mark were both really friendly and made us all very welcome. Would definetly recommend

This place is perfectly suited to a young family. We brought our 2 year old son with us and he loved every minute of it. We loved the family friendly rooms, where there wasn't much our son could mess or displace. The enclosed wooden deck was great as all our son wanted to do was run up and down and we didn't have to worry about him falling off the edge. The only downside is that there was no bath, but our son managed to adapt in the shower.
There are lots of animals for the kids to see, the running of the ducks made it well worth the visit. There were chickens, a peacock and a turkey roaming freely near our chalet.
There are two canoes that you are able to borrow and use out on the lake.
The Pemberton IGA is about 15 mins away and the hosts were wonderful.
Definately coming back, have already recommended it to my friends with young families.

We love to see our guests enjoying the activities and facilities the property has to offer and we're pleased that the FisherFamily enjoyed their stay.

Thanks to the FisherFamily for the tip about the IGA in Pemberton. To add to that there is also a Coles, a Woolworths and another IGA in Manjimup less than 10 minutes drive from Diamond Forest.

We stayed here back in August this year and had an amazing time! The cabins were perfectly set out for our family of five, comfy and warm and situated amongst the lovely farm property.
The owners of Diamond Forest were so friendly, making us feel right at home and really setting our boys at ease amongst all the animals. My three boys (3, 6 and 9) were blown away by the experience of feeding all the different animals and getting to cuddle the lambs and bunnies etc. The lake was very pretty and the canoes made for a fun afternoon on the lake paddling aound with Daddy. We will definitely be going back next winter!

Room Tip: There were a couple of rooms at the end which were family pet or toddler friendly (they had fenced o...

My husband, myself and our 3 kids aged 11, 7, and 5 have just spent 3 nights at diamond forest cottages and our only regret was that we didnt book a full week! This place is amazing. Beautiful cottage, perfect size and very neat and clean. Has the most wonderful views. The kids absolutely loved the animal feeding each morning. Actually we all did. Jenny is such a lovely friendly person. She was wonderful with the kids. We also tried fishing (unsuccessfully, tho lots of fun), and canoeing was great. The best part was seeing the kids enjoying the outdoors. We never turned the tv on and the kids didnt touch their dsi's. We cannot wait to return.

My 2 children (16 months and 5 yrs), my wife and I had a fantastic time, even though the weather wasn't so kind. Mark was amazing, so relaxed and informative, happy to chat away and answer all our questions that he probably answers all the time. Each morning we fed the animals and learned all about their personalities and funny foibles (like Wilbur and Charlotte the pigs who like digging holes through the fence). The duck feeding was quite an experience (I wont say too much to spoil the surprise, but it is a unique experience).

However, this is not the place for a long-winded account of our holiday, so I shall summarise:
4/5 cottage was lovely, well kept and neat. All amenities as required
5/5 kid friendly, the gate was a nice thought to keep kiddies in (and sheepies out) and no open fire place was great, saved us going crazy keeping little hands from getting burned.
5/5 for thoughtfulness, large fridge for all our shopping, electric blankets on the beds, reverse cycle airconditioner kept us toasty warm.
6/5 service and friendliness of staff, Mark went above and beyond to make us feel like part of the family.

Only some small gripes, the weather, but Mark said he tried to arrange for warmer weather but the weather person didn't comply.

In all, a very nice place to go and we will definitely go back!

Room Tip: Great for families especially with young children
