Food was good but staff have yet to learn their trade. Kitchen hand had to run next door to the pub to get change for our bill.

This restaurant has just opened. The chief has a lot to learn. The dishes were poorly presented, and tasteless. We ordered a chicken vindaloo that came out as a mild brown soup in a dessert bowl with a few small pieces of chicken in it and the accompanying biryani was basically overcooked rice with a few bits of vegetables and chicken and no biryani sauce. The teenage waitress did not appear to have had any training (e.g. wiped the edge of the over-flowing dessert bowl with her finger). The poppadums that arrived as nibbles did not come with any accompaniments and there were no side dishes or condiments to be had including the standard yoghurt with mint, Indian pickles or even the ubiquitous mango chutney. Cash only.

We had a takeaway Chicken, vegetarian dishes and Samosas. The samosas are amazing. Great Indian pastry not too oily with an amazing filling. Give it a go
