“Something different.”
Reviewed February 15, 2012

We were only there for one night and it was perfectly satisfactory. We booked a room at the last minute and got one of the cheapest. It was clean and comfortable and had most things we needed. The room seemed fairly old but that was Ok. Only a shower, no bath. We were able to sit outside at a table on the verandah outside our room and look at the garden, watch the birds and have a drink. It was very relaxing at the end of a busy day. The next morning we had an excellent breakfast with home made jams etc. The dining room is lovely and there are lounges and chairs, a fireplace and books, DVD's etc.
I would be happy to stay for longer although I would go for a room with some kind of table or desk inside as it was difficult to use computers at the outside table due to the sun. The free Wi Fi was a pleasant surprise and worked on the verandah outside our room

We liked this place so much we stayed an extra night. The self catering cabin was beautifully presented and very confortable. The setting is just so picturesque and peaceful. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and watched the parrots being fed. A great introduction to Australia.

A great find in a beautiful location. Room was delightful - the best from all of our holiday. Breakfast was superb (something you would expect to find in a top-class hotel) What a pity we were only there for one night!

Stayed 3 nights in a room with king-size bed and small kitchen. Really can't fault this lovely place, good room, beautiful public areas and gardens, fabulous breakfast. Didn't make use of the library/dvds/games etc. but there's plenty to occupy people on a rainy day. Only two suggestions. 1. Offer some sort of food in the evening, maybe a cheese/pate platter to be ordered in advance, not hot food; there aren't that many nice places to eat in Pemberton. 2. The shower/bath in our room had a very high "edge", hard to get in and out and very slippery when wet, not safe and really needs fixing.

Our three day stay was blissful. The accommodation - a standard motel studio for us - was large; extremely well-furnished; a well-equipped kitchenette that was more than adequate for our needs; a good-sized bathroom with a shower that was wonderfully effective at reviving us at the end of a tiring day. All was clean and cared for. The dining room alone is worth the visit: beautiful furniture, a wonderful outlook and the fascination of watching the colourful birds feeding within 10 metres of the dining room. The grounds are extensive, interesting and peaceful. The whole atmosphere is one of serenity and comfort.

The 2 room Chalet was very specious and comfortable!
We really enjoyed watching the Kangaroos and stars from our balcony.
This is a rare and wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to others.

Room Tip: 2 room Chalets are specious.
