“Farm accomodation with character”
Reviewed March 16, 2010

Good service - family run, staff friendly and helpful. Chalets have great views over farmland and rolling hills. Furnishings are a little dated, but chalets are comfortable and cosy with character. Short drive from centre of Pemberton. Ideal for families with children - animals, clean and pleasant swimming pool, tennis courts. Excellent value for money.

A real find. It has great views of the rolling hills, and it's very child-friendly: there's a pool, tennis, animal feeding, and a domesticated kangaroo.

The rooms are well-spec'd, with rather stolid, old-fashioned furniture and chintzy fittings. Phillippe Starck it isn't. Also, it doesn't have any internet.

But it's a great stopover place for a night or two if you're driving down the Tall Tree Country. Recommended.

Fantastic place to stay. Close enough to town, but feels very quiet and secluded. The chalet was clean and comfortable. The second bedroom is pretty full - with 2 double bunks in it, but we found it worked fine. The spa chalet was great value for money. Kitchen was clean, well set out and had every thing we needed. The views out over the valley are beautiful.

my husband and i just stayed at this lovely farm for 2 nights in one of there spa chalets, for 125$ per night it was excellent value for money. the chalet although small, are lovely clean and cosy, the spa was suprisingly roomy and we had a comfy bed and excellent view from our chalet. the property itself is beautifully presented and full of lovely farm animals. the manager/owner was also lovely and had wood chopped an ready for us each night. with this place only being 3mins drive to town you cant go wrong, its also central to many of pembertons lovely attractions.i would stay here again in heartbeat.

As a family with an almost-3-year-old and a 3 month old baby, we were looking for somewhere inexpensive but not cheap and nasty. Pemberton Farm Chalets was better than we expected! We spent 4 nights in a spa chalet as we needed a bath for our girls and it was great. The chalet was very clean (don't take any notice of the other reviews, I think they just wanted an excuse to whinge! LOL) and had a fully equipped Kitchen and a lovely wood fire. The beds were very comfortable and had electric blankets. The only negative thing was that the Lounge area was very small but we rearranged the furniture a bit and managed fine. Also be aware that Pemberton water is quite a brown-ish colour (tannin from the trees) which leaves a dirty residue in the bath but is actually very nice to drink - much nicer than Perth tap water.
Our eldest daughter was in heaven being able to feed the animals every morning and it was wonderful waking up to see horses and sheep out our Kitchen window. The whole place was very family-friendly and the owners were just lovely.
Overall, Pemberton Farm Chalets was excellent value for money.

If you advertise a 2 bedroom cottage to suit 6 people, you would expect enough seating for the group. Why would any honest business offer accomodation for 6 people, but only provide dining seats and a table for 4?
The 2 bedroom cottage would suit 4 people at a squeeze (2 adults and 2 kids) and we think this establishment is trying to bleed as much money from their customers as possible, from the smallest accommodation they can. We were not impressed with the poky bedrooms, caravan size kitchen and cheap decor. Compared with other places we've stayed at before in Pemberton, this was a total let down.
Avoid if you can unless you want a glorified caravan park cabin.

We asked for "The homestead" but unfortunately it was taken for the weekend, so instead they offered us to stay in a house they have just bought in Pemberton. Wow, it was amazing, big, clean, modern, comfortable, short walk to town and with all the extras you can imagine, tv room, chimney, great garden with a cute japanese area and fish, big modern kitchen, really great. We loved it and felt right at home. In the morning we went to the farm itself with the kids to feed the animals, they loved it. Rod was really friendly and we will definetly come back soon!
