“Trees!”

Owner description: All aboard at the Pemberton Railway Station for these return services which meander through towering Karri and Marri forests; over trestle bridges spanning rivers and streams along one of Australia's most majestic rail lines through to the Warren River Bridge. In spring (September and October) the forest is resplendent with colourful wildflowers. As you admire the breathtaking view on the journey your tram driver gives an informative commentary on the forest, railway line and history of the region; with a 15 minute stop at the Cascades for you to alight and experience the feel of the forest.

“Trees!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

A trip on an old tram with a difference. At the end you will know everything you ever wanted to know about trees! The tram goes down one way and then the driver goes down the other way and it goes back in reverse. Sit in the middle carriages with the four seats facing each other, that way someone is always facing forward!

“A little piece of nostalgia”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Loved the old Tram carriages - spacious and comfortable. Great scenery through the 'tall timbers' and the stops at the Cascades and the Loop Walk were wonderful. The icing on the top was seeing a Snottygobble! Thanks from Lyn and Daphne.

“Nostalgic Train Ride”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

This train trip was a bit too long I thought and the commentator seemed to repeat a lot of things. I did enjoy the ride through the forest, and presume it would be better in the cooler months

“Enjoyable couple of hours”
Reviewed February 10, 2014 via mobile

Enjoyable afternoon spent on this tram going through the forest. The guide was knowledgeable about the history of the sawmill and all the local trees and was very entertaining. Don't expect great comfort as the seats are wooden, but a very enjoyable afternoon.

“enjoy the ride”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

a delightful trip through the forest, accompanied by a very knowledgeable guide. His commentary was very entertaining and this trip is a must for all tree lovers. We stopped at the Cascade Falls, but it hadn't rained for some weeks. Only a light trickle of water! Overall a very relaxing morning trip
