“Good rooms and Sadies Resturant was fine dining indeed”
Reviewed April 25, 2011

We stayed two nights at the Glouster Motel - the roome were of quite a reasonable standard and certainly value for money. Both of us enjoy good food and fine dining and we ate two dinners at Sadies. The oysters for an entree were top quality, and would stand comparision with any resturant in Australia or overseas, the tasting plate as an entree, was virtually a meal in itself, and the Beef Wellington was excellent, indeed. The service was top rate, and I will certainly be going back

Very quite location ideal if you need to go exploring around the area (there is a lot to see in few miles). The rooms are quite large with tv and everything you need for cooking (oven, refrigerator, kettle etc...). I think it's great if you want to be on holyday with the family and like going around. I really loved the restaurant of the motel, the serve lovely meals and have a friendly staff. I will advice you to go climbing the gloucester tree that is located just a few hundreds meters from the motel

I would say the room (standard triple) was good comparing to its price. The cups was dirty though.

The restaurant was recommended by the lady in information centre, and she was right. I like the restaurant very much, good food, good wine and good atmosphere. Check out their trout and marron - local fresh water lobster.

We booked a room2 months in advance and due to previous unlucky travel experiences we made sure we received a confirmatory email from the manager. When we turned up we were informed the room was double booked and the others were already there. The receptionist was nice and apologised but we were left room less in peak season. The manager has not contacted us to apologise personally nor was anything offered to make amends. Will not risk again! Stayed instead at shamrocks which is more central and would offer good value to families.

Although we only went for some mealsand could not therefore comment on the rooms, we were very impressed with the many positive changes since last time we were there. The bar area and dining rooms were spotless and beautifully redecorated, the service was outstanding on the three nights we were there and the food was lovely. We had the best chicken marsala and fish curry we have eaten in a long time. The deserts on offer were delicious and made onsite. We have heard that every aspect of the motel has been upgraded and we were certainly extremely impressed with what we have experienced. We wish the new licensee all the best for the future and will highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

We stayed in a standard room with one double and one single bed. Room was air-conditioned, with TV, mini-fridge, electric water boiler, private bathroom in good condition... soap, towels provided, reliable hot water supply, squeaky clean shower area.. whats not to like! Nothing to complain about given the good location and good quality room for 100 per night.
