“Fantastic weekend”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

The most amazing stay, everything looked spotless, and attention to detail was given in all aspects.
Sitting in the spa looking at the stars was amazing.
Very warm welcome and wonderful smile on the way out, certainly a place I want to visit again, but for a longer stay next time.
A big thank you to the hosts, there if you need them but away enough so you can have privacy.
Simply fantastic.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and all I can say is AMAZING. We have stayed in Pemberton several times and these chalets are the best yet! The chalets are nice and modern and cater to your every need, right down to the little things like the heated towel rack. The spa is just fantastic to sit in off a night time with a glass of wine and watch the mist roll through the valley it is truly breath taking. We stayed in Chalet 4 and suspect we had the best views out of the 4 chalets. Scarlet Woods Chalets will be our yearly getaway for sure, we look forward to staying again!

Room Tip: Chalet 4 has the best views.

We chose Scarlet Woods Chalets from a number of properties in the Pemberton/Manjimup region because of the good reviews and getting a great price from Wotif.
The occasion was simply a couple of nights away with close friends - time to discuss our next trip together and have some fun!
Our chalet (2 bedroom, 1 bathroom) impressed us right from the moment we saw it perched near the top of a high cleared ridge. The view was spectacular - overlooking the native karri forrest - miles and miles of it!!! The chalets (there are 4) are brand new - built in September 2012 - and are oh so comfortable! All modern, with quality fittings and furnishings, well designed and very roomy. The beds were ultra comfy and the log fire kept us toasty at night.
The weather was kind to us and we sat on the balcony verandah and enjoyed a few wines while watching the kangaroos emerge from the forest to graze on the grass below us.
Scarlet Woods is pretty well located, being only 20 or so kilometres from Manjimup and Pemberton and there are plenty of wineries and attractions to keep you occupied if you wish, but just chilling on the couch with a book, a drink and the fire going would be ideal!
The chalet had everything you need for a stay, with a fully equipped kitchen and a great BBQ - it's just a matter of bringing some supplies and you'll be set for a peaceful, relaxing break!
But I reckon it would be wise to book well in advance, because once the word about this gem of a place gets around it will be mighty popular!
By the way - the hosts were friendly and very helpful - not that we saw much of them as everything was perfect!

My partner & I departed Perth for a long weekend of cycling adventures & relaxation - we wanted a comfy, self contained & modern place to relax as we were road/mountain biking all weekend.
This place had it all - fire place, warm spa, kangaroos roaming on arrival, hot shower (after riding in rain) plus heated light & towel rack in bathroom.
Upon arrival Gavin greeted us & gave us some information - quite useful & it complemented our plans. When we walked into our chalet we were pleasantly surprised by the little gifts/welcoming touches they had; chocolates on towels, fresh bread, juice, milk & oats - all fantastic in case you didn't have time to pick your bits & pieces up. For us we didn't want to rush around for all our meals, we ate lunches out but wanted to unwind & relax before/after our adventures - so we really appreciated this thought.
Will return - the view when we had rains over the forest was beautiful. Had the fire going & a glass of red...... Rain on the roof ... was lovely :)

We absolutely loved staying here. We stayed for 4 nights and we really felt relaxed and well rested. The views were beautiful and watching the sunrise was fantastic. We were in Chalet No 3 and loved the fact that it was so well appointed. We cooked our dinner each night and everything we needed was there. Having a fire was great as it kept the whole chalet very warm.We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!

Room Tip: Every chalet is separate and private so all of them are a good choice
