This motel is in a fantastic location. We stay regularly in the region but not usually so close to town. Our room was at the front of the property. The property is within walking distance of good places to shop and eat. It is well maintained with everything you could need. The room was clean and a good size. Whilst not luxurious the "suite" was well appointed and really comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Pemberton.

We stopped in pemberton as it was near the Land of the Giants, Tree Top Walk that we wanted to do the next day. We chose this motel basically on name. We went in to get a room for 3 adults. They gave us a family room so that we would have privacy. The main room in the motel had the double bed, dining table and chairs, TV and fridge. The other room had 2 single beds. The bathroom was basic but nice. We did notice that all the lights outside of the rooms around the carpark went out very early in the night (approx 11pm) and it was very dark outside.

Seriously - there were ants falling onto the pillows and all across the top of the bed from the ceiling that was in desperate need of repair. There was rusted guttering at the front door that meant we had our own personal water fall and room smelt stale. When we enquired about the restaurant the owner told us they have no chef so best to eat in town.

We were stuck here as there was a car rally in town if we could have moved we would have.

Having read all the reviews on this motel before posting my own I find it hard to believe that we are all talking about the same Motel. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. The rooms were lovely, the service was professional but very down to earth and the location was spectacular. It was a shame that the pool was closed (but my son was the only one who wanted to go swimming this time of year anyway, so was actually quite relieved), and that the restaurant wasnt operating but we were told that in advance and were able to make alternative arrangements for dinner and breakfast. The gym was fully equiped and actually made me feel very guilty for not wanting to exercise whilst on holidays :)
We spent most of our stay just wandering around and I found the mixture of old v's new was blended together extremely well. If there ever was a home away from home - then this is it. And what a beautiful location.
The staff were very helpful in recommending local attractions and 'must see' spots and even gave away some of their secret spots (which I probably shouldnt be telling you all about). The manager was very hands on and was not unapproachable about anything (as most of them are). He was always around doing something.
I would definately reccommend this place. It has such a homely feel to it, and Ive never seen such a beautiful place to visit in winter as Pemberton
