This was our second stay in Pemberton at Marima cottages, and the best yet! The owners are both lovely, the daily Kangaroos were a wonderful experience, the kookaburra's were hilarious and had me in fits of laughter daily. The whole property was beautiful!!!! We even got a tour from their uber friendly & cute dog! Our experience can't be described in words you must go here yourself to experience the sweet smelling air and all the wildlife :D

What more could you want for - beautiful chalets which were clean and well equipped, fantastic location with kangaroos grazing on the lawn, a wine centre on the doorstep and the most friendly welcome and service from Marina. As a party of six, we had one spa and one deluxe chalet and I can recommend either. Wifi access at the Wine Centre.
The only downside was the March flies which made it difficult to sit outside during the day but that was just the time of year.

Room Tip: All the chalets a great.

My first review and this property deserves a review. Tucked away in the Warren National Park and not far from town we found this delightful gem. Clean, comfortable tranquil nothing was a problem and always greeted with a lovely smile. Wished we could have stayed longer. I would recommend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do your first review, it is always good to get feedback good and bad it is what keeps us on track. Hope to see you in Winter it's only around the corner which is such a beautiful season - log fire crackling, rain dripping off trees. Fingers crossed you make that Winter return soon. All the best Doug.

Loved our location and stay, this place rocks. Kangaroos and star filled nights were just amazing.
Chalets are well presented and clean, deluxe spas have a Nespresso coffee machine, spacious spa and huge bed. Marina is welcoming, friendly, willing to help - a great host.

Can't wait to return.

Thank you Jacki for you lovely review, one of the things I love about my job is meeting such great guests like you from all over. I must admit the cloudless nights of late have made way for some amazing starry nights as we talked about - just magic. Thanks again and safe travels

Had the most relaxing holiday for a very long time, beautiful bush surrounding and kangaroos each day. If you are looking for a total wind down this is the answer. Highly recommended. Pemberton is a hidden jewel where peace and quiet are the order of the day.

No doubt that Marima Cottages offers a tranquil escape within the Warren National Park....

However the number of spiders and cobwebs in the cottages made the whole experience daunting. We found spiders under the bedside tables, under the chairs, all corners of the cottage, on the ceilings and even in the spa jets! Perhaps it was the time of year or the heat but I would not recommend staying here if you are even a little apprehensive of spiders and insects!
We stayed in both the deluxe spa chalet and the 2 bedroom spa chalets and had the same issue at both :(

In the heat of summer the single fan in the living room makes sleeping in the chalets unpleasant and difficult. Moreover being in the middle of a natural wilderness within the national park do not expect a TV signal, wifi or phone signal..

Facilities: Despite these issues the chalets are well furnished and relatively modern: flat screen tvs, a selection of dvds, good kitchen amenities, clean (apart from spiders and cobwebs).
The deluxe spa chalet even has a Nespresso station with complimentary coffee pods which is a nice touch.

Atmosphere: is unique and secluded being within the forest, good opportunity to see kangaroos and local birdlife. For some though being in the middle of the deep darkness of a forest particularly at night can be quite eerie. Marima is also not centrally located and can take up to 15mins from Pemberton centre along a gravel road.

If you are a nature lover and looking for a secluded escape away from city life this is the place for you. However there are many more accommodation options in and around Pemberton that afford more luxury, facilities and seclusion without the drawbacks..

Room Tip: Deluxe spa chalet is more modern, spacious and cosy.

Thank you for your feedback Jay, insects and the like can be hard to control especially in a our majestic location of the Warren National Park and are a minor downside to our beautiful environment.

We do provide insect spray and aeroguard in the chalets for your use if needed, it was a shame when we met on several occasions that you didn't mention your concern. We would have been only too happy to attend to this and could have offered to relocate you to another chalet had we had the opportunity.

Wifi and mobile service is possible 24/7 at the reception which we provide for our guests free of charge which I personally provided a pass code for you and your party to use.

If you are looking for a National Park location Marima Cottages is unique & secluded being within a forest. A great opportunity to see wildlife and thank you for pointing out these positives even though for you our location was a little out of the way.

Thanks again for your feedback

Stayed here in early December 2013 and enjoyed the tranquillity of the forest. Accommodation was superb with plenty of living space, comfortable beds and a great bathroom. Highlight was the visit of two kangaroos one evening just before dusk; stayed a while out the back of the cottage eating grass and quite unconcerned about us four. Recommend this place which is just a short drive to town.
