We stayed for a long weekend in winter 2012. First thing to note about the Marima Cotteges is they are 13 kms out of Pemberton. We were aware of this and for us it was part of the attraction, but I noticed a cranky comment in the visitors book where they hadn’t done their research and didn’t realise the bush setting.
We were arriving late, which is where the small things began. When we arrived, we opened the door to find a sweep of hot air as the pot belly had been lit for us and was roaring. We settled in and went to bed to find the electric blankets had been turned on for us. Other small touches are heated towel rails, NATIO products and loose leaf tea and coffee with plunger…. Which was enjoyed watching the kangaroos and by the pot belly.
The location is on the way to one of the climbing trees. The only downfalls (although it’s an attraction in my view), is there is no TV reception, so bring along a DVD if you like to watch TV. The other downfall was there was no milk provided.
The Chalet was clean and the linen smelt beautiful. We stayed in Jesmond and will visit again
