Stonebarn is just off the South West Highway, about 3km along a well formed gravel road. It is a new private hotel set in a bushland setting overlooking the property's large dam.

The hotel is really like a very large home with downstairs a number of different public rooms and the bedrooms (with ensuites) upstairs. The downstairs areas all open up onto a large terrace with lovely views. Each bedroom has a balcony. Each room has a small kitchenette.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a tour around SW WA and this was by far the most luxurious accommodation we stayed in. The small staff were friendly and efficient. On the first night we ordered a cold platter in our room and the second night was a BBQ. The hotel serves their own brand wine which is very good and each room has a Nespresso machine. Breakfasts on the terrace were a highlight, delicious and very elegantly served.

There are a number of pleasant walks around the property set as it is in a plantation of young oak trees. Ducks on the dam, guinea fowl on the lawns and beautiful sunsets. Well worth a couple of days and a good base to visit Pemberton, Manjimup or Bridgetown.

My husband and I stayed at Stonebarn for the first part of our honeymoon and it was just what we needed after hectic wedding planning. Stunning decor, beautiful setting. Not heaps to do, but that is the beauty of the place! Had delicious breakfasts, enjoyed walking around the property, mountain biking and had an amazing bush bath by candel light under the stars. Ate so many complementary baci chocolates I thought I would explode! Would highly reccommend for a relaxing and luxurious weekend or few days away.

A girlfriend and I stayed at Stonebarn for two nights recently, and loved every moment. We were looked after by the team exceptionally well, and felt like family by the time we left. The setting was amazing – as can be seen from their website, and we enjoyed wandering the grounds. Breakfast was as awesome as others had said, and sipping a wine at sunset was divine.

I cannot recommend Stonebarn highly enough, and encourage anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing getaway to visit.

Even with two nights, we didn’t do everything on offer – next time we will definitely go mountain bike riding, check out the bush bath and take one of the guided tours that are on offer!

From arrival until now, day 2 sat at the kitchen table with my complimentary Nespresso and a cookie, has been a wonderful experience. Warm welcome, great cheese, fruit, pate, bread and crackers last night. Very good own branded sparkling wine and a BBQ tonight. The decor is fantastic, wood floors throughout, sheep skin rugs, plush dressing gowns, beverage packed fridge where the beer is cheaper than Perth. Breakfast this morning started with a huge serve of fruit, yoghurt, muesli then fresh orange and a berry smoothie rounded out with bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, toast, croissant, tend and coffee.
Free wifi in case you can't stand staying in touch ! Some of the previous reviews about Stonebarn are very unfair, if you want a standard boring, small roomed, motel style stay with pool don't come to Stonebarn. If you want spoiling then do stay here.

My wife and I just returned from a few days at Stonebarn and it was one of our favorite experiences in our travel throughout the world to date. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owners for the opportunity to enjoy the most wonderful base from which to explore one of the most beautiful regions on the planet.

Our weekend stay at the Stonebarn was just the break we needed in our hectic life. The tranquility of the location and the gorgeous French architecture of the Stonebarn were two of the many things to remember. The jarrah wood interior breaths quality and class which also features in the rooms. The rooms are stylish with a quality bed and bathroom. The days were spent relaxing on the lovely varandah and fishing in the dam. We even caught some trout and a Pemberton marron!
One thing we must mention was the bushbath. All aspects were thought of by the wonderful staff- candles, champagne and bubbles in the bath of course. Nothing is more relaxing than lying in a warm bubble bath looking at the tree tops, listen to the birds and sipping champagne. Even the rain and prospect of incoming storm could not get us out of the bath and return inside.
All in all, a very memorable break. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to escape the busy city life, recharge the batteries and feel rejuvenated. We will definitely be back!

My Wife and I stayed at stonebarn for a weekend to celebrate our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier. What an amazing place! No expense has been spared. Wonderful staff, wonderful location. We'd recommend it to anyone heading down south... but book early as they are becoming very popular.
