“Great beach location”

Stayed here for 4 nights for some rest and relaxation. Short drive from Perth.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very modern and had everything needed for a short stay; however thought it was quite expensive.

The infinity pool was empty and overlooked the ocean; weather really warm but got a bit chilly in the afternoon/evening.

Mandurah is dead and the restaurants close really early; however ok if you just want to relax.

We booked for a 3 night stay (Friday - Monday), had trouble booking online so had to call to book. She tried 3 times to charge me more than the rates that I was looking at on the internet.

The day after we booked they had a special on their website, stay for 2 and get 2 nights for free. We had already paid for the 3 nights so requested that we could use this special and extend by 1 night. We were told 'no'. We were told we would have to pay an extra $168 to stay for the Monday night! Even though people were staying there on this special and had paid less and the resort was not even half full.

On check-in we were told where to park and that was it! Nothing else about the resort or facilities.

We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment which was quite nice. Our fridge didn't work and started deforsting. The bathroom, while nice, was poorly designed with no shower curtain or screen and water going everywhere! Although the resort wasn't anywhere near full we were placed on the side with a view of the road ,carpark, houses and an inlet rather than the ocean.

It does state that tea and coffee are available but we were given 3 sachets of coffee for two people for three nights! We were also only given 2 towels for the entire stay.

We took a DVD player and connected it with no problems (on their website it notes that a DVD played won't connect to their TV's). If you plan on staying in and watching TV, I would recommend you take one as well, the in-house movies are $14.95 each! And the advertised Foxtel consists of 3 sports news channels, 1 sports channel and Nickelodean.

The pool and spa area were fantastic, really nice.

Customer service is non-existent here and reception does close early if you need anything. While the rooms were nice, the resort in a great location and the pool and spa were gorgeous the customer service really let this place down. We ended up staying for the extra night at the Atrium, which was not as new, but a far better experience.

Wouldn't stay here again.

The Seashells apartments at Mandurah are in a nice location, although the shops and cafes around the area keep very strange hours, especially as it was holiday time.
We chose not to stay in the city on our first visit to Perth and were generally pleased with the location. Getting into the city was very easy and cheap from the station at Mandurah.
We arrived at the resort at 7.00am, after a long drive and international flights. We did not really expect to be able to check in but approached the front desk anyway, we were met with a very hostile reception and told in no uncertain terms that check in was not until 2.00 pm. We drove off to try and find breakfast, but as I said before the cafes keep strange hours not opening early or late.
We returned around 1.00pm as we could hardly keep our eyes open at this point, this time we were greeted by Brenda, who was really courteous and as helpful as she could be despite the room still not being available, she locked our luggage away, offered us beach towels so we could use the pool, in essence she tried to make us as comfortable as possible without actually getting to our room.
When we eventually got to our apartment, we found a large bright, modern apartment, well equipped and ideal for our requirements.
We stayed for four days, in which time the room was not serviced which makes it even more incredible that the room was not available any earlier on check in day. Broadband was very expensive, but as we were there over Christmas we wanted to contact home so bit the bullett and paid for it.

Stayed at the seashells with our two young infants. There were two cots and a high chair waiting in the apartment when we got there.

The fitout was lovely. The furniture was modern and well cared for. The kitchen fitout was very thoughful; it even had plastic containers. There were LCD TVs in the lounge and main bedroom as well as a seperate aircon unit in each. There were also two secure parking bays allocated to our apartment.

Really we couldn't have asked for anything more here - we enjoyed out stay and would recommend it when going to Mandurah.

We stayed here for 9 days. What an excellent place. We arrived and booked in. went to our apartment and there was a terrible din (rather a terrible noise) we thought it was the lift motor but we wrere wrong it went on for 5 minutes and then stopped after 20 minutes returned. I went and complained and we were given another apartment, fantastic. The staff were apogetic and the rest of the time there was delightful. Return again Yes
