“OK Coffee shop”

We had breakfast here, everything was reasonably good and was served in a timely manner. The portions were a little large and the cakes did not seem entirely fresh as they were a little crusty round the edges.

“We enjoyed it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2013

I have previously eaten lunch at Café Moka on a drive down to Mandurah and was keen to try their breakfast when staying across the road last week. It was a lovely place to finish our stay and everything was perfectly acceptable as far as we were concerned. We had no need of the toilets so I can't comment on that.

Being able to tailor freshly-squeezed juices is always a plus in my book, & our beetroot/carrot/apple/celery/ginger mix was exactly right. The zucchini fritters were tasty, but we thought it a pity to deep-fry them. I added grilled tomato to mine, which nicely complimented the poached egg & prosciutto, and one sister opted for mushrooms on the side. Mum loved the warmed date & honey bread she had with her iced coffee, & the hot coffees were great.

Even being a Saturday morning it wasn't crowded, and service was fine. I would definitely eat there again when in Mandurah.

“Great place for Coffee or Brekky”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2013

If you're staying at Dolphin Quays (and if not, why not?), then this is a good place to drop in for coffee or breakfast. If enjoying breakfast, ask to see their daily specials as they often have interesting breakfast choices. Would like to see them open a bit earlier in summer.

“Nice veggie breakfast spoilt by disgusting toilets”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

Sharing facilities with Catch22 (see separate review for how to wait 2 hours and only be served a starter...) may seem like a good idea but it means that the toilets are disgusting and there were no baby changing facilities, in family friendly Mandurah, why?

Service was slow and the food quality was ok. The veggies breakfast was great but the toast for the poached egg/smoked salmon was hard and I have tasted better cakes in WA. There are plenty of other places here to try.

“Give it a miss”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013 via mobile

What used to be a great place for a meal or just a coffee has become a disgrace. Dirty chipped coffee cups containing luke warm very average coffee, wait staff (who I think are the owner/managers) dressed in what appears to be their yard clothes, not to mention the terrible food. Add to this the dirty floors, filthy cabinet fronts and windows at 8 o'clock in the morning and you have the next Mandurah restaurant likely to close its doors within 6 months! So many better choices available within walking distance. We won't be back!
