“Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Rocks!”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Stayed overnight 21st March on our way further south. Excellent customer service, the park and facilities were exceptionally clean & tidy, fabulous accommodation (self contained ensuite cabin) with new beds. The park on a whole had lots of shade, a great play area for children, clean pools and a couple of entertainment areas! Well done to owners/staff - the park is a real credit to you!

This park is always a pleasure to visit. I guess that's why we keep going back! From the wonderful staff to the facilities, the great location to the peaceful setting......we've never found a fault yet. I've read some of the other reviews and yes, the park is on a main road but it is set well back and there is never a problem with noise. Sure, it's not in the centre of Mandurah but it is only a short drive away and, as Mandurah can get so busy, we wouldn't want to be any closer. The facilities for kids are excellent too which makes it a much more pleasurable experience for Mum & Dad!!
I think this place really benefits from being a family run business. The Cockings and their staff ALWAYS provide 1st class service and continually strive to make improvements and additions to the park. We certainly wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area. Just wish we had time to get there more often.

Have now stayed here twice with my children , we stayed in the chalets and loved them, very cozy and family friendly , the second stay I took the kids by myself and
Felt safe and secure :-)
The staff were very helpful and although it was to cold to go in the pool when we stayed the kids had a ball playing in the giant pillow thingy.
Toilets and shower area was always clean.
Enjoyed a BBQ breakfast and loved that it was close to everything :-)
Will be staying again very soon, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We recently stayed at the Mandurah Caravan Park and we loved it!!!
We have stayed in many caravan parks and this one is by far the cleanest we have seen, the toilets and showers were spotless every time we went in there no matter what time of the day or night, the BBQ areas were very clean.
The kids playground is small but sufficient for younger kids and the jumping pillow was well used by our kids.
The pedal carts were also a hit, again we have been to a few parks where they have the pedal carts but they were always too big for our kids to peddle by themselves but at Mandurah Caravan Park they have 3 different sizes so it was great.
The two pools and outdoor entertaining areas were well used on our visit, the sun loungers and umbrellas are in a great location to still supervise the kids while they splash about in the smaller pool by themselves.
All in all a great weekend - but do remember the aeroguard as the mossies are about - not as bad as I had imagined but the kids did get quite a few bites.
Lastly the ponies in the paddock were a great surprise, lucky we took carrots as the kids would feed them before bed each night.

We stayed for one night at a powered campervan site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and modern. Only downside were that you have to pay extra to use barbecue and the pool did not have anywere to sunbade (no loungers and only hard concrete floor). Also, the location is not great as it's on a busy main road and is very far from the beach and from Mandurah's city centre.

Dear MarioPizza,

Thank you for your review and feedback regarding your stay with us. Our Head of Housekeeping will be very pleased to know that you found our bathrooms and kitchen areas of a clean standard, thank you. Yes, although we do charge $1 for 25 minutes for the use of our BBQs, this price has not increased for 14 years. We believe that this is quite fair and reasonable, considering the increase in gas prices.
Within our Pool Area, we do have 4 benches, and 3 sets of loungers. Perhaps these were all in use at the time you were using the pools, but we do have it in our budget for this upcoming financial year to include more loungers & seating in and around our Pool Area.
Due to the 5km distance to the beach, foreshore precinct and City's centre, we do have 2 pools onsite and numerous play equipment for the Kids. We are also only 400 metres from the Serpentine River which is great for fishing or crabbing.
Yes, we are on Pinjarra Road, which is a major road in the Peel Region. We have done our best in strategically placing the Sites that are closer to the front of the Park, in areas to which our Accommodation can provide a sound barrier.

Thank you for your feedback and please be ensured that I will make sure there is more available seating in our Pool Area & surrounds for your following stay.

Kind Regards,
Laura Cocking

From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating. As it was the long weekend, we had some rather rowdy neighbours in the tent alongside ours - however, once contacted, the staff spoke to the offending patrons, and even stayed to ensure they kept the noise to a minimum. All the contact we had with the staff members was positive - they couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. All the bathrooms were clean and facilities were immaculately kept. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We couldn't fault this park! From the moment we arrived (at 8.30pm) the staff were helpful and friendly and coukdnt do enough for us. The gazebo area, BBQ, pool area and gardens were clean and well kept. We were so impressed we booked 2 more weekend stays there next month. Highly recommend it. Yes, there were mozzies but they are everywhere in mandurah, you can't avoid them!
