We booked this hotel for a last minute family getaway and we amazing at what we recieved. The location is fantastic with t being an easy stroll to the mandurah foreshore and waterfront. The rooms were huge and full of all the mod cons. Plenty of carparks outside and fantastic staff made this the perfect weekend getaway for our family. We will certainl;y be staying here again.

I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2011 for a workshop. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. There is plenty of free carparking outside for hotel guests. The location is very accessible to Mandurah's main strip, and overlooks the estuary as well. The (M) restaurant in the hotel serves great breakfasts, and has an extensive bar with pleasant staff. Overall, this was a very comfortable stay. There were good business facilities as well, that are located in a nice part of the hotel overlooking the water. The lunches that we were provided during the workshop were very good quality and had plenty of variety. I reccommend this hotel for business stays.

Living in Perth, this hotel is a great get away, being less than an hours ride away. Still relatively new, within a short time, you feel like you have been on holiday for ages. The staff are businesslike, yet friendly, amenities are all good and generally, our stay was most enjoyable. As there is a pub downstairs, which can get noisy, its advisable to stay high up so as to avoid the noise. All in all, a great holiday. We will definitely be back!!

Room Tip: Request a room on a high level floor or non river facing

This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel, having been here previously in May 2011. Once you enter, you get a nice lofty feeling as the lobby is bright and cheerful with full views of the blue waterways outside.

Bathrooms are white-based, clean and nice but not luxe.

The rooms are big with either water views of car park views (yucks!). Certainly worth it to pay a little bit more for the water views as car park views also comes with the daily garbage truck noise at 730am.

But location-wise, this is probably the best and newest hotel in Mandurah central and all the action centres around it. Nice to also walk along the waterways or across the Venetian canals etc.

Airy, bright and nice.

Room Tip: Must have a waterway view.

We arrived at the hotel to be told our room was not ready, but were offered a free coffee or wine while we waited. The room was fantastic a large King room with seperate lounge area and a huge balcony - but it was on the same level and above the bar/restaraunt below. I had mistakenly thought I had reserved a room with a kitchenette as we were staying several days, but not so. The Duty Manager was most helpful in assisting us with choosing the type of room we needed and was happy to move us accordingly, even though it was a Saturday night and the hotel was heavily booked.
The 1 bedroom appartment we moved to was perfect. Lots of room, very comfortable and a great balcony facing west for the sunsets. (I imagine this might be a little hot in the summer months).
As we were GHA members, we had free internet access, which at times was a bit troublesome connecting as I was told by several staff members that I needed to get a passcode every day or so. It wasn't until the second last day of our stay that someone else told me to just log in and the charges would be deducted from the bill. Irritating, but no big deal.
Free parking was advertised, but it is in the public carpark in front of the building. $25 per day for valet parking under the building!
Overall, I would recommend this hotel highly. The staff were more than helpful, it is very comfortable and well located within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, the cinema and it's right on the boardwalk.
