We arrived at the hotel to be told our room was not ready, but were offered a free coffee or wine while we waited. The room was fantastic a large King room with seperate lounge area and a huge balcony - but it was on the same level and above the bar/restaraunt below. I had mistakenly thought I had reserved a room with a kitchenette as we were staying several days, but not so. The Duty Manager was most helpful in assisting us with choosing the type of room we needed and was happy to move us accordingly, even though it was a Saturday night and the hotel was heavily booked.
The 1 bedroom appartment we moved to was perfect. Lots of room, very comfortable and a great balcony facing west for the sunsets. (I imagine this might be a little hot in the summer months).
As we were GHA members, we had free internet access, which at times was a bit troublesome connecting as I was told by several staff members that I needed to get a passcode every day or so. It wasn't until the second last day of our stay that someone else told me to just log in and the charges would be deducted from the bill. Irritating, but no big deal.
Free parking was advertised, but it is in the public carpark in front of the building. $25 per day for valet parking under the building!
Overall, I would recommend this hotel highly. The staff were more than helpful, it is very comfortable and well located within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, the cinema and it's right on the boardwalk.

Room Tip: Join GHA to get free internet - it's free to join

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will stay again. The Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Our hotel room was very clean and tidy plus all the facilities were there such as ironing board, fridge, tea/coffee making. Our room was spacious with plenty of room for 2 adults and a child. The location was central and our view was lovely overseeing the city and a little of the canals. We definitely would stay again.

This is an impeccably well groomed property in a stunning location with brilliant water views from the larger than usual suites and their balconies. A bonus is to stroll the boardwalk that extends from the hotel around the waterfront past the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre into the town centre. From your balcony at night you can suck in the glorious sea air whilst admiring the twinkling lights of the marina. This hotel is definitely for the over-stressed exec or lovers of any age to get away from it all without having to take a long drive to Margaret River. We're planning a third visit.

Room Tip: Ask for suite with view across lagoon to Mandurah town centre.

Great place to stay in Mandurah, large room, big bathroom. Nice balcony over looking the esturay, close to everything. Unfortantly the pool was been renovated so we did not get to use it, we could use the pool in the complex next door but we did not have time anyway.
