This is a good value for money option for families. Pool was excellent and overall the resort was neat and well maintained. Be warned breakfast on site is only on the weekend but the self catering option or "Empress" cafe are both good alternatives.

Dear Casstef,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your stay at the Resort.

I appreciate your very positive comments regarding our facilities and value for money.
Regarding breakfast during the week, we are delighted to confirm that nearby Preston Street cafe "Hangout" now has a chargeback arrangement where guest can dine in the cafe, and have their bill added to their Resort account to pay in a single transaction on departure. We will be looking to broaden the number of nearby cafes and restaurants under this arrangement.

I have also spoken to the Front Office team regarding your comments on someone's attitude and I can assure you all are disappointed that they may have been perceived as surly. Please accept my apology if you interacted with one of the staff in a less than finer moment.

Thank you again for your comments and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Resort in the future.

Kind regards, Deborah Taylor (Resort Manager)

We stayed 2 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment with Spa Bath. The apartment was fully self contained, enjoyed cooking a lovely seafood feast for Hubby. Broadwater has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely large pool and outdoor spa, nice restuarant, comfy beds. We caught the ferry into Perth, then the free Cat bus around Perth, enjoyed Perth for a day. Nice eateries close by. We booked through Wotif and got a great price for 2 nights. I would definatley stay here again.

Room Tip: we had a ground floor room away from the busy freeway.

I booked this property with high expectations. However the dream was shattered. Maid service starts after four days. The room is well appointed and does emphasize an apartment. I booked the breakfast package, the first morning it was excellent, second morning they did not openuntill 07.30 and I had to leave and the third morning they were closed as they were not busy enough, the pool, was OK, a little cool but not bad. Most of the staff were nice, one man went out of his way to help, but the older lady on the desk wasnot so good, she also forgot my wake up call. I had one dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. There are a lot of saftey issues, not enough hand rails, hot tub and pool area. The price was exorbitant and I will certainly do more research next time.

Room Tip: Grond floor away from freeway

Dear Mr Wyder,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay at the Resort.

I am glad you enjoyed the extra space and features of an apartment, however were not aware that Housekeeping do not service daily. We do advise this on our website, however if you booked via another site, they may not be as up front about this.

Our onsite restaurant - Breezes on Como - is open for Breakfast on weekends from 8.00am and nightly for Dinner. We also offer a chargeback arrangement with a couple of cafes and restaurants on Preston Street where you are able to dine and have the bill charged to your Resort account for a single payment on checkout. We are investigating other restaurants to add to this service to offer a wider range of cuisines and trading hours for our guests.

I am both delighted and disappointed at the feedback on our Reception staff, and have passed your comments on to both of the staff you have identified, and apologise that your wakeup call may have been missed.

Accommodation prices in Perth and surrounds reflect the significant demand for accommodation. I would recommend booking as far in advance as possible to ensure you are able to reserve a room most suited to your needs and you are not paying for a larger room if it is the only thing available at the time.

We trust you enjoyed the remainder of your stay in Perth.

Kind regards, Deborah Taylor (Resort Manager)

Location is convenient to the airport and city across the river.Parks walking distance and Zoo.
Staff very pleasant and informative and were well accepted with a late arrival.
ordered a cooked breakfast from Breezes as they were closing up and peter was welcoming and topped us up with more than ample breakfast supplies for a reasonable price.
Upstairs apartment was clean and well appointed but shownig signs of age.
upstairs loft, kids enjoyed their own space.
Kitchen well equiped and spacious bathroom.
Close to highway but didnt find noise an issue at night, but would be a little unpleasant out on the balcony during the day.
Would have liked to stay longer and maybe enjoy the pool.
May see you again when over in the west.

Stayed just one night on a ground floor apartment opposite the freeway and wow the traffic is constant and loud! I booked this hotel because i have two children and wanted a heated indoor pool incase it was raining, which it was when we stayed BUT the pool was absolutely freezing, most definitely not heated. So because we couldnt swim we thought we would have a nice spa back in the room. Because the spa is so big the hot water ran out in the middle of filling it, once filled and the jets were on it was great, until we saw all the dirt piling up in the bubbles. Assuming the dirt came out of the jets. Not very appealing having a spa in dirt that isnt yours.

We ordered dinner and breakfast from Breezes on Como and they were great. Breakfast was very well priced.

Don't think we will be staying here again

Room Tip: Request a room at the back of complex away from the freeway and a room on the top floor to avoid noi...

Location convenient but out of the hustle.10 mins to CBD, 20 to airport. River across the road, and quiet pleasant streets around. Como is a bit suburban, perhaps, but there are good cafes and a supermarket (I prefer to self-cater when travelling). Freeway noise is certainly there, but what do you expect opposite the freeway? Unlike another reviewer, I was not at all kept awake by it. Unit clean, parking perfectly OK. Pleasant and convenient base for my business commitments south of the river.

On-site restaurant that doesn't do weekday breakfasts is of little use to the business traveller.

Note to management (and I've put this in the feedback form):
You need to provide wine glasses, and you need to get digital TV. ABC analogue TV reception is lousy here. Coffee plunger and coffee sachet would also be very welcome.

Room Tip: If the freeway noise is going to bother you, many rooms are further back and less exposed to the Wes...

Dear Taxidhi,
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay at Broadwater and I am delighted to see that there were many facets of your stay that were positive.
The onsite restaurant, Breezes on Como, are currently reviewing their opening hours and responding to local and inhouse guest demand.
I am also happy to advise that as of this week, we have commenced a full resort upgrade of all inroom televisions to 40" screen digital units ensuring access to all free to air digital stations. We hope to complete this rollout within 8-10 weeks.
Thank you again for your review and we hope to see you back at the resort soon!

Stayed overnight here. The facilities and apartments were clean and spacious. However the units across the front face out on to the Swan River and the Kunara freeway. The freeway is busy well into the night and starts up again in the wee hours of the morning. It was very noisy and was unable to get a restful nights sleep.

Room Tip: Rooms at the reaer of the protperty would be much quieter
