Have just returned from a very relaxing four night stay .we had a studio with spa bath apartment it had a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle , toaster ,crockery and cutlery and small fridge, ironing board and iron .the bathroom was very clean with a large glass enclosed shower and a large deep spa bath which was wonderful the apartment was serviced daily with fresh towels, bed made up ,clean tea towels daily .it was a pleasant surprise to have the daily service as many other places no longer do daily service yet still charge a premium price .The staff at reception were very polite , friendly and helpful, and although there is no restaurant on the premises ,there is a food court right next door which has a variety of cuisines available and there is no shortage of restaurants in busselton and dunsbrough It is well worth a visit ,and we will most definitely stay there again .

We stayed in a 3 bed apartment, which appeared newly renovated and of a high standard. The third loft bedroom might not be suitable for small children, on the other hand there is only one parking pass per unit so that could be an issue for couples sharing. Whilst the kitchen is modern and has enough utensils to cook with, it is a pity there is no restaurant. Similarly, there is no room cleaning or new linen provided unless it is an eight day stay. This does mean that 'someone' may spend some of their holiday cooking and cleaning and for this reason I would prefer to go somewhere with a cleaning service. The pool looked lovely but was cold and most people clustered around the spa. I took my five year old grand daughter to the children's room but it only seemed to have old toys and not even some chalk for the chalk board - she was disappointed. However, the beach is very nearby and wonderful.

Room Tip: Ask for one well away from the road.

Dear interested13,
Thank you for your feedback and I’m happy to hear you like the newly completed room renovations. We have the two pools and spa set at different temperatures to cater to all tastes. The outdoor pool sits around 24deg, the indoor pool at 29deg and the spa at 38deg. I’m sorry to hear your grand daughter wasn’t happy with our children's play room, we’ll certainly look into updating this.

My girlfriend & I recently spent 3 nights here & had a very enjoyable stay. However we had 2 complaints that took our overall impression from "Excellent" to "Very Good". Firstly, no Internet. I can stay at cheap motels where this is included, so the fact that it wasn't included here was disappointing. Secondly, insufficient parking. We expected that we'd have somewhere to park, but twice we went round & round the property without finding a spot, which was irritating. Other than that, all good!

Dear KennyPatrick,
Thank you for taking the time to post your review for your stay at The Sebel Busselton. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Internet is available in the rooms at a fee, or complimentary at our reception, & although there is one car park per apartment this is difficult to police. We apologise for the inconvenience & appreciate your feedback.

We stayed here for just one night with our friends the Stevens. Everything about it was lovely. The 2-bedroom apartment was clean, with really comfortable beds. As the hotel complex doesn't have a restaurant the equipment in the Kitchen appeared sufficient. The lack of restaurant didn't prove to be a problem as we ate our evening meal next door (a pleasant short walk along the path through trees) which was excellent and for breakfast we ate next door in the other direction, again very enjoyable. The Sebel's facilities are superb, the pool is glorious and the pool toilets conveniently housed a lovely warm shower. There is easy access to the most beautiful beach which appeared very safe for children. All in all we would highly recommend this hotel.

Its rare that you open the door of your accommodation and go "WOW" but that's exactly what happened when we opened the door to our 3brm apartment at the Sebel. Very modern and stylish, the room looked completely brand new. Beautiful kitchen and huge island bench dining table, a ridiculously huge freestanding bath in the main ensuite, huge comfortable corner lounge, nice photographic art on the walls (although a little too dark if I had to be picky), and the most well-stocked glassware cabinet I have ever seen in a hotel.

Upstairs there was a huge loft with single beds, and downstairs 2 double bedrooms. If you have very young children you might want to avoid the stairs but they were not a problem for our 3 year old.

I'm not sure if the fact we were travelling with a three year old had anything to do with our room allocation, but we certainly appreciated being right next to the pool (which was well utilised over the four days we were there).

I do think that a restaurant on site would be useful, (we ate next door once - it was OK and had nice Thai takeaway from in town as well as self-catering). There is not a lot of dining options within walking distance.

The staff at check-in were very polite and professional. We loved our 4 night stay - a great choice for families or couples. If only we didn't live on the other side of Australia.......

Room Tip: It's a big property so if you have young children ask for a room close to the pool. It was never too noisy.
