We stayed for a week in a studio apartment and weren't disappointed. The room was large, there was plenty of space and a decent sized tv. Bathroom was also large with good sized shower and spa bath.
Bed was comfortable and the linen was of good quality.
A few days we were in our apartment at the time of housekeeping, so didn't take full advantage of that. The room however was clean and kept to a high standard.
Pool area was nice and big, bo outdoor and indoor pools, with plenty of seating and sun lounges. Gym was well equipped. There was two games rooms for kids and teenagers, though we weren't travelling with children so only went in once to check them out and play some table tennis.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
There was no room service or restaurant, however next door was the broadwater which was a short casual walk from our room.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and could not fault this accommodation.

Room Tip: Be mindful if you are staying for a week or more, you may want to consider an apartment with a full...

Very impressed and could not criticise. We were a family of 5 in a 3 bedroom apartment. Lots of room, 2 bathrooms and so well equipped. Had just been refurbished.
The facilities were great with indoor and outdoor pools. Also tennis courts, squash, gym and children's lounge.
The staff were so helpful.
Good location for Busselton, Margaret River and country drives

Booked a studio room on an Accor special. It was very large for a studio, with king bed, kitchenette, balcony and oversized marble bathroom with sep shower and spa bath. Initially was a bit doubtful re quietness due to position but am happy to say it was quiet and provided a great place for a 3 night stay. Small supermarket and food court next door, plus a pub serving great food. Serviced daily a bonus. Well kept grounds and it had a great village/community type feel with the individual houses set up along with the studio blocks. Although a great pool on site and tennis court, there is beach frontage as well as access to the beach front pub next door. Excellent security with the complex only accessed by key card both for vehicles and walkers. Located out of Busseltown town centre so need a car. Biggest down fall was no free wifi which in todays market is essential to travellers. They had free internet usage in the office I believe but this was not open after 8pm so really not an asset. Recommend...if wifi not an issue, and as signal was poor tethering was an issue.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not backing onto Bussell Highway

We had a studio room, and these are the things I loved about this place:
1. lovely big room with a heater and air conditioner. Very clean too.
2. it has a heated pool and an outdoor pool
3. privacy and outdoor space - it's like staying in your own secured residential estate
4. Own secured parking lot
5. Easy to walk out to the beautiful beach - it's just gorgeous!
6. Short drive to margaret river, yet not far from the town amenities
7. Right next to a place that sells yummy and fresh fish and chips! It's perfect to just end the day with a hot fish and chips dinner in the warmth of your spacious room. Plus, hotel guests get discounts at this shop.
8. There's also a small food court and supermarket nearby. Totally convenient!
9. There was a children playroom. Not exactly the cleanest place nor the most well-equipped. But children don't care about that. And we like the thought that they bothered to cater to young children and families.

Things I didn't like too much:
1. they didn't have a baby cot, but they had a portacot with no mattress (or rather the base is too thin and hard to be comfortable for anybody). My advice for them is to invest in a good baby cots, cos' happy babies = happy parents = happy guests.
2. No cafe/ restaurant in the resort itself
3. The bigger units at the back of the resort seem really quiet. I am glad we had a unit close to the reception.
4. The toilets are lovely, but because there's no heater in the toilet, it gets realllllyyyy cold in the toilet!!

I would certainly recommend this place to anybody who wants to visit margaret river.

Room Tip: Get one near the reception area.

My girlfriend and I were pleasantly suprised with our two night stay in September, especially considering we paid just $80 a night. The Studio room was clean and well equiped with a mini kitchen including bar fridge, nice bathroom and large bed with a T.V. We were located close to reception, just opposite the tennis court.

My only problem was the noise coming from an upstairs studio room. The group had their T.V up loud each evening and were generally a rather noise bunch. Anyway, I guess that's no fault of the Hotel, just that the walls were not overly thick. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and it was relatively quiet

I thought eveything else was fantastic value, and having a car it was only a short trip into Busselton City or slightly longer to the Margaret River region. Reception was quick in both check-in and check-out and more than helpful to answer any queries.

Will definitely look for Grand Mercure on my next trip to Busselton!!
