Food was undeniably good. The pesto mussels were a good choice as the dish was substantially filled with mussels laden with a good amount of flavourful sauce. It was hard not to mop up every drop of it with the bread slices that were served alongside. The Thai beef salad was generous in ingredients with the right amount of dressing. The vegetable ravioli from the kids' menu was cooked to al-dente perfection but the pasta could be cooked for a slightly longer minute since the dish was meant for a child who might not understand the concept of al-dente, and could therefore comment that the pasta is under-cooked. The food was so enjoyable that a return visit was made the very next day. Unfortunately, the restaurant was at its busiest at that time, thus causing the service and food quality to be compromised. The waiting time was extremely long and the pesto mussels that was ordered again did not meet the same expectations as the previous day. The quantity of mussels over two orders were inconsistent - one dish had more and bigger morsels while the other dish had lesser of everything, including the sauce. That was a major disappointment. Due to the long waiting time, no one could bear to complain. Hunger pangs took priority. Having said that, the kids' menu of vegetable ravioli tasted better the second time around as it was cooked "less" al-dente. Just perfect for a child's tastebuds.
