We loved spending our time wandering and reading the history of this excellent Museum. Well worth taking a good few hours to take it all in.

This is a must! Cannot believe that they do not charge to come into this museum! It was a find! The museum has exhibits on the nurses contribution during the wars and their dedication to caring for the soldiers. There are exhibits on nature conservation/indigenous persons and culture and how people lived in the 1980's - 1900's. A great place and well worth a visit.

Gold coin donation to go in. All kids activities on the left had a price attached in the Mexican area. Kids enjoyed sitting on the bean bags to watch the film. Went upstairs to read about the migration to Australia. It was very interesting how things have changed over the years. We went to the other building and watched films, frog garden, etc.. our favourite part was reading all the stories on the women of war who were the nurses and most of them did not survive. It was really interesting and so sad. There was a boat you could look around for an extra fee. Think it was $16 for a family of 4. We spent around 1.5 hours here.

Great place to visit as there is information about local Aboriginal history through to explorers, convicts and farmers.
