“Thindaloo”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

I went with five others when this restaurant first opened and was not impressed. Too much prepared sauce with insufficient filling.
Desperate to assauge a hangover, I tried again today with a fish vindaloo takeaway. Nothing's changed. A lake of prepared gravy with a few measly bits of fish padded with potato.
I asked for hot, but it was no warmer than a tradesman's armpit.
Truly disappointing. I won't try again.
However if you're lucky enough to be in Perth's wide world of restaurants and like good Indian, try the Two Fat Indians next to the Queens pub. Brilliant.

“Ridiculous wait...”
Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

We were in a group of 10 people, the resturant wasn't even that full at all. (about a third full) We ordered our food and were advised to order entrees because there was a half an hour wait which wasn't a problem.. After we finished our entrees we waited almost 2 hours for our mains!!! And when we asked where they were the girl told us because we had ordere lots of different meals that was the reason it took so long.. In any case that is not good enough.. We weren't offered any sort of discount or any appologises. I hve been here before and it was fine.. But I will now never be returning.. Curry leaf is the best option!!!! There is never an excuse for waiting 2 hours for food with a half full resturant! And the curries were ok, nothing fantastic but only 3/4 full! You don't pay good money for service and food like that...

“Fairly good but clearly overpriced”
Reviewed December 26, 2012 via mobile

We find everything pretty good but clearly overpriced. We took a mix banquet for two people (about 26 dollars pp) and the quantities were definately too small. The entree was just some grams of fried onions for two people! We complained about that and the owner gave us some bread for free, which was nice however.
I can't recommend this restaurant based on the service we received and the high prices.
