It was wet, windy and cold, so we mostly stayed in the car; just braved the elements to visit a few of the main attractions (reviewed separately). Even in mid-winter we managed to see some nice flowering shrubs, but mostly green, some fire blackened, some lying flat against the ground as a result of high winds. Very well signposted and some inviting walk trails evident. Warrants a return visit in better weather, but still impressive in winter.

We spent quite some exploring Torndirrup National Park. What a spectacular place with so many wonderful scenic walks.
The views over the various bays and beaches are beautiful. Do not forget the camera. We enjoyed the walk to the blow holes even though they weren't doing their thing. Probably the most spectacular and most photographed natural features was the Gap and Natural Bridge. These are a must see experience and the very impressive viewing platform is worth a photo in itself.
The roads are all sealed and it isn't far out of Albany. The main walks are all very well maintained as well. National Park fees machine is located at the Gap.

What a gem of a place, some of the most incredible coastal scenery imaginable and quite easily accessed south of Albany. The prize goes to the Gap with a beautifully built platform to view the Southern Ocean at its mightiest. The force behind those waves, the deep blue and green colours and tremendous spectacular spray is hard to describe. As for Albany, what a place, three ( not just one ) beautiful Harbours, the spectacular coastal scenery, amazing historic sites and what I consider of the best climates in Australia ( not everyone would agree with me perhaps on this one ) but temperature conditions, never too hot or cold, ample rainfall which was so apparent in this shockingly dry year, so lush down there. Could easily be a capital city but just as well it is not as it would have lost its beauty

This National Park is really beautiful. We did all things that were signed. So The Gap and Natural Bridge which are quite impressive. Cable Beach is nice with the Lighthouse in the background. The Blowholes are alright. They didn’t throw me for a loop but it is definitely something special that mother nature shows us there. I really liked Stony Hill where you are having amazing views over the National Park and Albany. Misery Beach was beautiful as well – we have been there for ourselves and really enjoyed it. We didn’t do anything at Discovery Bay. It was definitely a nice day and I can highly recommend this NP.
