Excellent staff, food, variety, flavours, decor, value.

Staff are attentive and will catch your motions very quickly and food came out in perfect timing each time. The food was excellent and very good value, you only need to compare the prices of a steak here to anywhere else in Albury to see they are bang-on in the (pardon the pun) value steaks.

There is plenty of variety in the menu and the wait staff all know the menu inside out. Flavours are outstanding and in a venue with such nice simple decor the results speak for themselves which is an excellent dining experience.

Only real negative about the place is its location but that will likely change as the are is developed. A note to another reviewer, I would not classify this as a formal dining restaurant. I would say it is a neat-casual restaurant.

The food was excellent and there was a good variety of main course dishes. The desert menu did not inspire me however. The serving staff were very attentive and well versed in the wines and food, it's preparation and origins. I found the surroundings uninteresting, with no art or decoration to speak of. With a full restaurant it was noisy and difficult to hear the conversation at my table. One very distracting element was the staff uniform. This is a fine dining restaurant, not the Hog's Breath Cafe. Staff should be dressed appropriately. Overall this was a good experience and I'll go again but if I'm paying fine dining prices I want more than fine food and good service.

First time dining here. Most tables were full and on a Tuesday night.
Very attentive professional service.

The menu offers an outstanding selection of quality & taste sensations. Whilst a bit noisy due to the crowd the food/wine is top class and shows why the owners & their team are building patronage.

We will definitely dine there again. Best meal in Wodonga that I can remember.

The former proprietors of sourcedining and the Kitchen at the Courthouse Hotel have opened their new restaurant in the old Wodonga railway station. The venue is excellent. The four of us had no trouble conversing in the spacious surrounds. The central kitchen is an excellent idea and provides a stimulating culinary atmosphere. The decor is suitable.

The service, led by Steve, was superb. We were extremely well looked after all evening, but we were there for the food and it was outstanding.

We started with freshly shucked oysters and the kitchen selection of charcuterie accompanied by a local prosecco. All excellent. For entrees we enjoyed salt and pepper school prawns, the citrus cured kingfish, crumbed lambs brains and home made terrine accompanied by a local riesling. While all entrees were of an adequate size, we were looking forward to the main dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the pork choucroute with 6 garnie, the braised beef brisket and the boned and roasted quail. The quail in particular was magnificent, but all dishes were declared excellent.

The wine list was full of local and nearby wines and provides an appropriate variety to accompany any dish.

Steve and staff are very welcoming and Wodonga's old railway station comes up a treat.
Quality food and drinks were enjoyed including Wagyu, Barramundi, quail, duck soufflé pate.
Side dishes of salad/veges are priced separately
We had ample room and with tables not close together it made for ease of conversation.
Relaxed atmosphere
