Have just had the most amazing stay at Karsilama and wish we had stayed longer, from the moment of arrival we were made to feel welcome, the home is immaculately presented with premium quality furnishings, from the bed linen to the towels and even the appliances, Leoni and Rod are truely wonderful hosts and operators, the fridge was stocked with fresh bacon, eggs, butter, 1 litre milk, beautiful tropical fruits and bananas and an abundance of other essential items. From the moment we arrived it was just so relaxing and the views were splended, its such a peaceful location in a quiet part of wodonga. But still close to everything the region offers. And best off all it was pet friendly! Thanks so much for hosting us and going that extra mile with your superb property and welcoming hospitality.
I have travelled extensively around the world, staying in all sorts of accommodation. I could uber-rave about Karsilama for ages and pages! It is truly a special place - fantastically located, gorgeous style/decor, lovely expansive sunny aspect, super clean, incredibly comfortable, private, well appointed, well equipped, great facilities, so many unexpected extras, ridiculously good value. Better than a home away from home. A total gem!
It's had a lot of love and care poured into it, which is no surprise when you meet the host - there are angel wings on this magical being cleverly disguised as a human aka Leaoni! Talk about going above and beyond. So much warmth and care and kindness and empathy.
EVERYTHING about this experience is off the scale. Feel good factor 12 out of 10!
Leaoni was a great hostess, she made us feel very welcome. The house was prepared amazingly, there were a lot of amenities provided. Just going to a walk around the estate, was very peaceful. I would recommend this place to all visiting wodonga and wanting a place central to everything yet isolated for peace and quiet
Leaoni was absolutely lovely to deal with, and patient, and the perfect host. My guys really appreciated and cherished their stay at Karsilama; they felt welcomed, relaxed and loved it. I have no doubt they will remember Wodonga most warmly - in no small part due to the hidden charms of Karsilama and its hosts.
