“delightful cottage”
Reviewed November 15, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Recently spent 3 nights with my husband at the charming trawool cottages after purchasing a travel auction vouchre. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the peace and quiet in the beautiful surrounds. We did not go to the cafe as it was closed but Lindy [the owner] provided us with a lovely home cooked breakfast The bbq on the deck was great and seymour the nearest town was only a short distance away for any shopping needs. The only thing i felt was missing was a bath tub but expect water useage is an issue being in the country.

Thanks for your response it is nice to know you had a great time. Sorry bout the bath, we are installing a new spa area so you are able to contemplate the universe and the gardens, which should cover the requirement for the bath. It is slow going trying to get council approval but hopefully it will be available in the new year.

“Quiet and Relaxing Cottages”

We had a lovely two night stay here. We decided at the last moment to take our young children and the owners were very accomodating. But it would be a romantic getaway without children :) The cottages are lovely- it was very hot so we would like to go back in the winter to be able to use the fire. We were provided with port, a cheese platter and a bottle of wine which helped to create a lovely ambience. Breakfast was delicious. The bed is very comfortbale. We did not travel with our dog this time but it would be a perfect break with your pet.

Liked best: The cosiness of the cottage and the extra touches like the cheese platter, wine and port
Liked least: The beautiful big window near the top of the cottage let in lots of light- meaning an extra early start with children- maybe a curtain for this window?

Thanks for your review Sharon. Would love to see your family back here again, with the dog. We will book you into the farmstay next visit and our outdoor spa room should be completed by then, giving the kids somewhere, besides the river, to cool off.
