Situated in the old Prahran Post Office you might walk in thinking this is a bit of a barn but they have a large bar area with a segregated pre dinner drink area overlooking the street scape. When you are led to your table within the restaurant area you are aware of other tables around you but with the clever lighting we and our friends felt we were the only ones there as we immersed ourselves in catch up conversation and delighted over the food choices. They were flexible in our ability to share entrees and even made a slight change to my wife's main to accommodate her dislike for mushrooms. I had a magnificently cooked chicken infused with truffles and served on a bed of pasta (delicious). Washed down with a couple of bottles of Tasmanian Pinot Gris everyone loved there meals. Cost (including pre dinner drinks) was approx $100 per head and worth every bit of it. Being visitors to Melbourne being a 3 minute walk from the Prahran train station was a bonus
