Our oysters were partly still deep frozen and our fish of the day was less than average. Overall the food was just not good at all, and the service was quite unfriendly. The only good thing is the view and lots going on... Probably best to only have a beer!

I have eaten here on several other occasions and found it to be pricey but generally good quality and a great meal. Not this time. Ordered the gnocchi described as cheese crusted in a mediterranean vegetable sauce for $26. What came was gluggy white balls, cold and clearly microwaved, with basic tomato sauce spooned over the top (which had separated and the bottom of the bowl was filled with red water) and a big chunk of cold half melted (definitely not crusty) mozzarella sitting on top. Attempted a few bites but in the end i just couldn't do it. Tried to flag a waiter to let them know, but every one had the averted eye down pat. Upon walking out i noticed the same completely untouched meal being cleared from another table - hopefully the kitchen received the message. Partner had a $28 well done steak that was still bleeding but aside from that alright.

Hesitant to give the food here another chance after such a horrid (and expensive) experience but it is a beautiful view even if you just pop in for a drink.

Can't comment on the food as we only had coffees here, facing the long trip back we needed some caffeine, and the views from this place sold it for us.
The coffee was fair, but the service unfriendly&disinterested - we have been here twice in recent years - it was the same last time. We are easy customers but we don't like being ignored&dismissed.
Shame - really pretty spot.
